  • Comfortable, cozy, convenient

"My husband and I stayed at this wonderful little cabin in June, 2014 during a two month road trip. We wanted to be convenient to the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone for wildlife watching. It is also at the base of both the Beartooth Scenic Highway and the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway, two of the most beautiful drives in America. The owner was easy to deal with and quick to respond to any questions we had. There was also a caretaker on the property who was there if you needed anything. This cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is within steps to a great little restaurant and across the street from a little store where you can pick up limited supplies, souvenirs, and even rent a spotting scope for your trip into Yellowstone. We had the full gamut of weather, which is to be expected in June, and so spent some time sitting in the sun out by the creek on a couple of warm days and spent a cozy, snowy afternoon by the fireplace on another. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already planning another visit."

  • Great Acomidation!

"As the owners of a VRBO rental ourselves, we really enjoy staying at other VRBOs to get a sense of how they welcome their guests. The Grey Wolf cabin did not disappoint. We had a wonderful stay there. My favorite part was the reading material available in the cabin and the plethora of lamps for reading. After a bomber day driving across Yellowstone, it was great to come back to the cabin, build a fire and read about what we had seen that day. We saw tons of wildlife and Yellowstone was outrageous. Thank you!"

  • Feels Like Our Second Home

"We have stayed at this beautiful cabin three times and every time it feels more like home. this cabin has everything you could possibly need to be comfortable and if you don't have it or can't find it Zig or Mallie will make sure that they get it for you. The beauty out in this area is outstanding, fishing is world renowned the river is just outside your door and has the most relaxing hum as the water flows over the rocks, it is very tranquil in the summer when the windows are open it will put you right to sleep. My husband and I just came back from a hunting trip and stayed again at the fishing cabin just as beautiful and relaxing as summer (maybe even more if that is possible), Don't hesitate to stay at the fishing cabin you wont be disappointed!"

  • Hawaii fishermen find a fun, new experience

"On behalf of our group, I want to express my sincere thanks for helping us have a fantastic time in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Your recommendations were most helpful, without which we would have wasted a lot of time trying to figure things out for ourselves. The group thoroughly enjoyed the experience and all agreed they had a wonderful time. They liked the cabin and it worked out just fine for all of us. It was clean, espeially the bathrooms. Internet worked when needed for an urgent business matter back home. Three of us guys bunked in one of the upstairs bedrooms and our married couple had the MBR. One other guy slept in the guest log cabin in the back yard. We all slept well. We liked the Clark’s Fork best of all even though other rivers or streams were scenic and fun to fish. We primarily fished the Clark’s Fork just inside the Wyoming line that has beautiful gorges with rapids and pools. The Yellowstone is also an impressive river in other ways. After fishing there and then hiking back to the Gardner River parking lot, we enjoyed a dip in the “Hot Tub” in the Gardner River. What a pleasant way to end the day! We also fished Soda Butte, Slough Creek, Lamar and Firehole. We caught plenty of fish including one or two guys getting a four trout (Cutthroat, Rainbow, Brook and Brown) grand slam. This is a trip we all would like to do again some time. Thanks again for your help."
