"On behalf of our group, I want to express my sincere thanks for helping us have a fantastic time in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Your recommendations were most helpful, without which we would have wasted a lot of time trying to figure things out for ourselves.
The group thoroughly enjoyed the experience and all agreed they had a wonderful time. They liked the cabin and it worked out just fine for all of us. It was clean, espeially the bathrooms. Internet worked when needed for an urgent business matter back home. Three of us guys bunked in one of the upstairs bedrooms and our married couple had the MBR. One other guy slept in the guest log cabin in the back yard. We all slept well.
We liked the Clark’s Fork best of all even though other rivers or streams were scenic and fun to fish. We primarily fished the Clark’s Fork just inside the Wyoming line that has beautiful gorges with rapids and pools.
The Yellowstone is also an impressive river in other ways. After fishing there and then hiking back to the Gardner River parking lot, we enjoyed a dip in the “Hot Tub” in the Gardner River. What a pleasant way to end the day! We also fished Soda Butte, Slough Creek, Lamar and Firehole.
We caught plenty of fish including one or two guys getting a four trout (Cutthroat, Rainbow, Brook and Brown) grand slam. This is a trip we all would like to do again some time.
Thanks again for your help."

"My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights with and our daughter's family. We have stayed at numerous cabins/resorts over the years and this stay ranks as one of the best! The cabin is about a mile from the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone. We have visited Yellowstone 4 times over the years and believe that Silver Gate is the perfect place to stay to see the park- no crowds and wonderful wildlife in Lamar Valley. We saw 6 bears as well as 2 wolves besides the "usual" bison, deer, elk, etc. while driving through the valley to get to the various Yellowstone sights. The cabin itself is first class- new, clean and comfortable. Our grandkids enjoyed wading in the creek next to the property. All in all we can"t imagine a nicer stay."

"Lovely place to stay! High ceilings, large windows and ceiling fans keep the cabin beautifully open and light. Everything was super comfortable--from the beds/bedding to the towels to the dining room chairs. Lots of thoughtful touches and comforts. Of course the Silver Gate location and wildlife are awesome too. I wasn't sure how the single large bedroom would work for our family of 4, but it was just fine."

"Stayed in the big cabin for 4 days in July while visiting/fishing in the park. Cabin is beautiful, with ample space for 4 fishermen. 2 full bedrooms, 1 solo bed, and a pull out couch. Huge island kitchen with s/s appliances and everything you'd need to cook. Was excellent for dinner one night when it was raining. When its not rainy, enjoy the beautiful deck and grill and eat outside. Plenty of towels, sheets etc, making the trip very easy. Very convenient, less than a mile from the NE entrance. Owner was a pleasure to work with. Would recommend this cabin to anyone, and personally would not stay anywhere else around the NE entrance. Highly recommended."
