"We were there for a special family gathering that we had talked about for years. All 3 of our grown kids had worked in Yellowstone summers and more while they were just out of high school or attending college. Two of them met their spouses there. Our first night at the cabin we were treated to a huge lighting show over the Gallatin's, Huge incredible bolts along with incredible thunder and rain too, We hadn't seen any rain for some time due to the drought in California so we appreciated it.
The cabin itself was perfect for our 11 folks, everyone was pretty comfortable and the kitchen although small did a good job when it came to meals. Every day we would go into Yellowstone and view the park sites but we liked driving back to the cabin. Driving up the windy dirt road was a bit challenging but doable. After a few days in the cabln it started to feel like home - we were there for 5 nights and loved every minute. Would like to return to the cabin again someday and stay longer.
Special thanks to our kids Christopher, Denise and Becky for making the experience happen. And special thanks to our daughter-in-law Gay Marie for winning the writing contest which really made this trip happen as it did. Our 5 grandsons, Langston, Evan, Peyton, Blake and Ben loved their stay at the Mountain Cabin and they plan to ride horses next time."

"We stayed for 6 nights in early September, and I was so excited after booking this trip, couldn't wait to get up there. Nothing about this house or area let us down. This was the most beautiful property, loved the privacy, we really felt as if we were in our own little world! Very clean, had everything we needed and we spent almost every night at the river with a fire and just gazing at stars, and listening to the river... ahhh, heaven. Very comfortable home, and the bed is great! Gardiner is a great town, too! Just felt at home here after even just a day. The Gardiner market has about anything you need, and where as usually we have to stock up on groceries, it was so close, we just stopped in after being in the park and got what we needed each night. Entrance to Yellowstone is so close also. I would recommend this house to anyone! And also we did get to meet the owner's son and wife, and they couldn't have been more pleasant and nice! Thank you for allowing us to rent your home, it made our vacation all the better!"

"We stayed in the cabin about a week ago and absolutely loved it. Our young kids got up early in the mornings just to watch the sub come up and see the wildlife out the back window. We saw many, many deer every morning just by looking out the window. The location of the cabin was also perfect as each time we took a drive into Gardiner or Yellowstone Park then you can see bison, deer, antelope, and elk right next to the road. The cabin itself was very spacious and was very convenient that each room had its own bathroom. It is beautiful inside and very clean and up-to-date. We definitely recommend this cabin to others."
