  • Yellowstone 2014

"Lamar Cabin was great, well constructed, equipped very well, supplied very well, great location (within a mile of the Yellowstone gate), quiet, nice large refrigerator for those extended stays. Would stay again!"

  • Beautiful Cabin!

"5 Star accommodations for our extended family of 6! The cabin was beautiful and well-appointed AND had a fabulous view. I'm not sure I can add anything more than what the other reviewers have said -- this cabin had it all!!! It was a great place, great location, great views and extremely comfortable. It did feel like our home away from home. We would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend it to our friends."

  • July 4th holiday vacation at a beautiful Montana Ranch

"What a beautiful state to visit -- and we couldn't have been happier with our accommodations. We spent 7 days in the Executive Suite -- just the two of us, so the size was perfect, but could have easily handled 6 adults. It was warm, but the air conditioning was wonderful to come home to at night. The photos are very good indicators of exactly what you get -- very well described. Thank you, Gary, for being a very good host and sharing your home with us. We appreciated your suggestions of what to see and do in the area, and your availability and inquiry to if we needed anything. We felt right at home and cooked many of our own meals. The deck and grill were used by us daily. The view of the Beartooth Mountains from the deck -- and the sunsets were just what we needed. Did I mention the fishing was good? And the horses were eating apples and carrots right from our hands by the end of the week. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet place, Gary's home fits the bill. We already know we want to come back again, and have recommended his place to our family and friends. The parade and rodeo on the 4th of July is great fun too -- the Bull n Bear Bar and Grill has live music, and don't miss the pig races at Bearcreek, and so much to see and do in the Red Lodge area."

  • We loved this townhome and would definitely stay here again!

"Contrary to the reviewer before me, we did not smell the first scent of mold. The townhouse was clean and inviting and perfect for our stay. Everyone had their own space, which was so nice. If you have issues with counter space, you have a large dining room table to use, so that was not a problem at all. The fridge is huge, and we enjoyed that there were spices in the cabinets, plenty of cooking utensils, and even things like coffee filters and aluminum foil. We had no issues with the lock, and the grill worked great! We spent so much time in the park that we were not looking for huge expansive decks with views when we got back. We just wanted to put our feet up and enjoy a home cooked meal and relax, and were were able to do that with ease here. We kept the upstairs windows open during the day, and by nighttime, all you had to do was turn on the fan in your bedroom, and you could sleep very comfortable under a sheet or light blanket. Another great selling point about this townhouse is that it is so close to town (you can shop or eat out if you don't want to cook, and there is a nice little supermarket, too) and so close to the West entrance of the park. If you are spending a few days here and want to catch all the sites on the loop trail, it is just 14 miles from the Yellowstone Loop to the West entrance, so we never felt like we had a long, draining drive back to the townhouse after a long day of sightseeing. The pictures and descriptions were accurate for this unit, and we were immensely pleased. We only heard one loud motorcyclist drive by (other than that, it was mostly a quiet street and the only noise you heard were families bike riding and giggling as they biked), and no place is sound proof enough for that motorcycle that went by. We highly recommend this spot for the perfect visit to Yellowstone!"
