Million dollar views, beautiful property, great location
"We rented this property to be close to Yellowstone, but also wanted to see what else the area had to offer. The house was beautiful and perfectly maintained. Beds were great, and the view from every room in the house was breathtaking. We even learned much about the surrounding area from the owners who stopped by to make sure everything was just right and discovered some great places to visit including Ennis, Virginia City and Bozeman which was quite closer than we thought. We also realized quickly how great the stretch of the Madison river was for flyfishing right out the back door which we took full advantage of. We had stayed in West Yellowstone before and were glad to be out of a busy tourist town. After having stayed in West Yellowstone for another trip, we were thrilled to have so many great places to eat within a short drive from the house. The Grizzly Bar & Grill which is appearently a favorite of the locals and visiting fly fishing enthusiasts had some amazing food, and the town of Ennis had great shops & restarants; even really good Chinese food. Our kids were were constantly surprised by the wildlife they spotted from the deck including elk, geese, deer, coyotes, eagles and the craziest site was a wedge of swans that flew right over our heads as we were headed to dinner late one afternoon. On the way to Yellowstone from the house, don't miss stopping at the Quake Lake visitor center which was a favorite with our kids and was also fascinating to us as well.
The owners were great to work with, we had a wonderful time during our stay and would highly recomend this property."

"As other reviewers mention, the photos are not a fair representation of this property. It is much better than the photos! We were all pleasantly surprised upon arrival, including my 70 year old mother who is accustom to staying in 5-star hotels. :)
There were 10 of us, 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 young children. Plenty of room for all of us. My 70 year old father had suffered a broken femur 8 weeks before this trip and he was just beginning to walk on a cane. This property was perfect for him. He could not walk done the bank to the river, but he loved sitting out on the very large wrap around porch. We spent every night at the outside table for happy hour and watched the fishermen and listened to the river.
The kitchen is well equipped and the table accommodated all 10 of us easily. Plenty of dishes and utensils for all of us.
The property does sit right on a major road, which I was very concerned about before we arrived. You will hear occasional road noise from cars and tractor trailers, but it is not a very busy road, so it's just every now and then. None of us were kept up in the night from it.
We highly recommend booking a float trip for fly fishing the Madison River. We had 3 boats and used Matt, Taylor and Pat, who were all great guides! We also booked a horseback riding day trip with Mike and spent the day in the Mammoth area of the park riding horses and enjoying the sites without seeing any cars or other people. There is an AWESOME restaurant just 5 miles away called Grizzly's. So, even though the cabin is remote (as everything is out there), you do have a couple of dinner options closer in.
No matter where you stay, you will be driving to get to your next adventure. Having said that, this cabin was centrally located to all of the day trips we made ... Yellowstone Park, Jackson Hole, Big Sky, and Pocatello, ID.
David is great to work with. He is incredibly responsive and accommodating.
We highly recommend this cabin and we will certainly be back again! :)"

"This is a property that is a must on your list for small groups or singles. As a last minute my mom found this and WOW. The pictures do not do this justice. You will enjoy plenty of space, and extremely clean accommodations. However, your host (Tom) will be the best part of your stay. He is extremely welcoming and friendly. His local knowledge is priceless, and by the end of your stay you will know you met a friend for life. As I write this review I can't help but think that in prompting this unit more people will stay, and the dates will be harder to get. I have stayed in or about YNP for 500+ days over the past 14 years, and when it comes to Gardiner visits this is my pick. Thank You Tom for your great hospitality :)"

"What a GREAT experience. The Centennial Inn was just as it was advertised. Rarely the case when it comes to vacation rentals, but this was clearly the exception. Our very own sleeper car with beautiful appointments. And, our private river access with outstanding fishing (many fish caught to be highlighted by a 14" rainbow and a 16" brown). The location couldn't have been more convenient to trips to Livingston and visits to an "oh so beautiful" Paradise Valley. Our 10 day stay was magical in every way."
