Excellent restful spacious home with many amenities
"The place was as advertised and better. Large house with all the things one needs. Owner was very easy to deal with and quite efficient in booking details and answering questions. It is 5 miles on a very well maintained dirt road off I90. The many decks make for restful reading and zoning out. Only very slight issue (since the idea is to get away after all) is wireless is spotty. However, cell service is very good. We had 4 adults and 3 kids (8,6,4) and all enjoyed it greatly. All in all an excellent option and a decent price given size, location, and house atmosphere. We enjoyed Livingston as an area more in many ways than the hubbub that would exist around West Yellowstone"

"From the moment I spoke to Theresa (owner) on the phone, I felt like I was going to be staying at a friend's home. She even texted after we arrived to make sure everything was fine. Her thoughtfulness and organization helped us feel welcome and enjoy our vacation even more. The home was beautiful, clean, and located in a great location. The views were breathtaking! We had six adults, two children, and three teenagers in our group - and there would have been room for more. The open concept provided plenty of space for a three year old (who had been in a car for several hours) to "move around". The home is equipped with EVERYTHING you need in the kitchen, plenty of seating, tvs galore, and a hot tub on the deck with the most amazing view. Family games were provided, and we had fun with our own family "ping-pong and fuss ball tournaments". If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, with lots of sightseeing and activities available, this is the place to be.
If you plan on doing major grocery shopping, I would suggest planning ahead and stopping in Bozeman. We made the mistake of driving there after a day in Yellowstone and it turned out to be a longer day/night than we had expected (we also had construction delays in Yellowstone). Big Sky has some nice grocery stores (about 10 minutes away) for quick shopping but they are more expensive. No matter where you go, the drive is beautiful.
This was our first trip out to Montana/Yellowstone and we absolutely loved it. If you are planning on traveling there, we would highly recommend staying at Sky Haus - you won't be disappointed!"

"We came from three states (Oregon, Colorado and Idaho) to meet at Red Cedar and had an amazing time! It was the perfect meeting place for our family of 14 with six of them being under the age of 13! We really enjoyed that everyone had their own space, including the kids and the large bathrooms were so nice to get ready in! I also liked that the cabin, for the most part, is handicap accessible. Having large open doorways and a seat in the downstairs shower made a big difference for my father with muscular dystrophy. I would love to see a ramp or another way, other than the steep stairs, to gain access into the home but we are certainly not complaining by any means. The kitchen was perfect for making large meals and prepping for the days activities. The table is certainly a great place to sit and play games or just eat together as a family. We loved sitting on the back porch enjoying the sunsets, watching the kids ride bikes up and down the road and taking walks during the evening. Sue (property management) was great and made up feel welcome! We also loved the close proximity to town and had so much fun at the Arial Adventure (highly recommend!) We will for sure be back to Red Cedar!
The only changes I would make (and again, we loved it so just a little constructive criticism):
the ramp, the beds are a bit soft and it would be nice to have a downstairs sitting area other than the two oversized chairs and the kitchen table. A couple of couches downstairs, granted that space is limited, would be nice to have a sitting area to hang out at."

"Our extended family gathered in Bozeman for New Years (Dec 2014). The home is absolutely beautiful and the art work is lovely. It is well furnished and spacious enough to host a large group for meals and entertaining. We have 17 people in our family and we comfortably dined and relaxed together during the days. There were a few items that needed to be moved out of reach of the toddler (2.5), but that was easily accomplished.
Some of our favorite things about the home: well stocked kitchen (utensils, etc), key pad on the door (no need for keys), use of the garage, the jet bathtub upstairs, great art work, fun and warm bonus room, comfortable beds and multiple bathrooms.
Be advised that in order to access the bonus room, one must walk DIRECTLY through the upstairs master bedroom. There is no other way to access the room. It would work well if it's your children staying in the bonus room, but probably not in any other circumstance. Since the bonus room doesn't have a bathroom, anyone staying out there must walk through the bedroom to access a bathroom.
Also, as a side note, there was no smell to the fridge (as posted previously by another guest) so that problem has been remedied."
