  • Amazing ski vacation

"What an amazing house! Thank you so much for opening your home to us. Your home is absolutely beautiful and our stay was so comfortable. With 5 adults and 3 teenagers it was so spacious and there was never any fighting over bathrooms! The ski in and ski out was convenient and easy to get to. Location was perfect, private yet close enough to get to downtown. It was by far one of the best homes we have stayed at. We can't wait to come back again!"

  • Christmas retreat for Ruffatto family

"We try to stay at the cabin one weekend before Christmas each year. My grown children consider it a second home. There is lots of room and a fantastic kitchen . The kids love playing pingpong and football. This year it was cold enough to go ice skating. Skates are provided. We hope to return next year."

  • Great location, has everything you need

"I stayed in the Cottage for a little under a week and found it perfect. Walking distance to Main Street and in a very quiet street. Great bed, comfortable just lounging around the cottage - and in a location which meant it was easy just to wander around the streets exploring. The property manager was very approachable and communicated everything very clearly and quickly. I will stay again next year"

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
