  • Great location and home!

"My family of 5 were extremely happy with the home we rented. It was very clean. In a great location, had a nice shared backyard. The 4 bedrooms sleeps 8 people and 3 bathrooms were very comfortable indeed."

  • Wonderful 5 star place

"We were lucky to find this perfect house where we stayed for three nights. Absolutely wonderful, immaculately clean, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable space. It was a pleasure to come back to in the evening after the day at Yellowstone. The kitchen had everything one could ask for, beds comfortable, bathrooms spotless. There is a grill in the back yard we had taken advantage off. Close to restaurants, park entrance, etc. 5 stars!!!!"

  • Excellant Name, so convenient to the West Side of GNP

"What a great place to stay if you are on the west side of GNP. Cabin was extremely clean, comfortable, convenient and easy to get to. Description of the cabin was perfect and would stay again if we return, and highly recommend to any visitor. Owner was extremely helpful in providing a list of suggestions of places to eat, hikes, places to visit nearby and wildlife. Wifi and phone service were undependable, probably due to the mountains. Sorry we had to leave!"

  • Perfect Home Away from Home

"We'd echo all of the positive comments made of the Blue Willow Guest House. This was our 3rd stay with Greg and we're already looking forward to next summer when we return for our annual visit with family in Bozeman. We have stayed in many VRBO's and can positively state this one leads the pack. Adequate supplies of paper products and cleaning material are examples of Greg's thoughtfulness. We flew and therefore had no car, which was no problem for shopping or getting around down town."

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
