  • Amazing

"Brought my family to Yellowstone as my Christmas gift to my grandchildren and their parents. This house had everything you could possibly want or need and the furnishings were great. Haven't slept that good in years. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. The amazing mountain views and the Yellowstone River sitting on the deck couldn't have made our trip more perfect. And only a mile from the Park entrance. I'll be back soon!"

  • Excellent!

"We came here for a wrestling tournament and wanted to make it a family vacation. We had different family coming from Glendive, Helena, and Laurel. We were only here for 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. Everything was amazing. The inside of it was beautiful and very cozy. Dan was very helpful the whole time. We already started talking about when we could rent this place again for a longer stay this summer."

  • Awesome cabin!!

"What a wonderful week we just had enjoying Gone Fish Inn and Glacier National Park. The cabin was immaculate and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Kimberly and Ray were a joy to meet. The cabin was conveniently close to the West Glacier entrance to GNP but on a quiet street near the golf course. Great for evening walks. By far the best vacation rental we've ever stayed in. HIghly recommend!!"

  • Great experience!

"Charlie's cabin has everything you'd want in a cabin experience. Located in Big Fork, MT, it is very close (5 mins.) to Flathead Lake and only 45 minutes from Glacier National Park. Best of all, it is set-up directly on the river. Walk 10 feet from the front door and your feet can be submerged in it. He has kayaks, canoes, pattle boards and bikes to utilize as well. Kayaking on the river is addictive and you'll want to do it as much as you can. Fire pit on the large deck makes for great evenings. The cabin itself is very clean and cozy. Full oven and range! A shower and restroom is a great addition as well. The sauna is one aspect we didn't use, but the option to be able to is great. All in all, Charlie's cabin is a perfect place for a couple or family to experience shared memories. We will visit again I'm sure! Thanks Charlie and Judi!"

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes.
