  • Glacier Vacation

"This was a wonderful home to stay in. It was immaculate and very comfortable. There were 4 adults and one teenager and we had a lot of privacy. Chuck and Viki are very friendly and made sure we had all we needed. The personal touch of providing homemade brownies was wonderful."

  • A perfect place to stay for Montana experience

"We enjoyed staying in this cute and very comfortable cabin for 3 nights. The cabin is very clean and thoughtfully prepared. Everything is there when you needed it. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, and the horses, especially Jett, are so cute and genital. We have some memorable moments to feed the horses and watch the starlit sky. We’ll definitely be back and stay for a longer time next time. Thank you Linda , it’s a real pleasure to meet you and Rick. A Tip: watch out for wild animals if you are driving to Yellowstone, especially the stretch of 89 along the Yellowstone river."

  • Location with Character

"We loved this place. Used as our base for XC skiing. Hylite Canyon trails only 20 minutes away and Yellowstone Park within 90 minutes. Great charm and character and well appointed with all the amennnities. Clean! Ample room for 2 couples. Loved the large dining room table that allowed us to invite new friends over for dinner. Has large mud room at entrance with lots of closet space to store skis fishing equipmment etc. Now the best part you are only 2 blocks away from the heart of downtown Bozeman which has tons of great resturants and shops. You do share the building with other tenants but cottage is so well insulated noise is not an issue. Monthly rates are a real value whatever the season. Your landlord is a gracious host who lives locally."

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
