  • Awesome!

"We arrived to the condo on 12/26 and stayed for four nights. The owners are amazing and so accomodating! We loved everything about the place. There were three couples and we all had our room and bathroom. Lots of privacy and super comfy. The fireplace was really nice when we came back from shopping. Had contact via text and/or email with the owners while we were there about a few things and had very prompt response. We took the shuttle to Big Sky one of the days skiing and had a pretty difficult time coming back since it was such a busy time. They wouldn't drop us off where we got picked up (which was really close to the condo) so one of us ended up hoofing it quite a ways back to the condo for the vehicle. We drove the rest of the times. :) Other than that I can't say enough great things about this condo and the owners. The hot tub is down two buildings, you can miss it if you aren't looking close enough because everything looks alike! Stay here and you won't regret it! Got our security deposit back quickly and was a very stress free trip. Thanks Guys!!"

  • Awesome !!!

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on Duck lake. Everything was wonderful. We had a great experience staying here. Loved all the pictures, quilts, comfy bed etc. There is a view of the lake from one side of the house and a view of the mountains from the other side of the house. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. September 9th & 10th we were snowed in but made the most of our time by reading, watching a movie etc. Actually, it didn't just snow on Wednesday it was a blizzard that blew hard for 24 hours straight. But, we were nice and comfy in the house. The day we left the sky and the roads cleared and the mountains were majestic with all the new snow on them. The horses that roam freely are a "hoot" but be careful driving in and out. We had a horse jump a fence, right in front of our car, and we almost hit it. "Roy" was only there the first day but he was fun to have around. Enjoyed seeing the white pelican. Only saw it twice while we were there but it was beautiful. The sunsets were amazing!!! All in all some wonderful memories!!! Irene, thanks so much for the delicious fresh fruit. That was really appreciated. Close to Many Glacier for some great hiking. Don't forget to stop at FisherCap lake to see the moose. Fun to see in the wild!"

  • Room to Relax while Visiting Glacier NP

"We arrived in Browning late in the afternoon and Debbie was there to greet us. Private parking area and easy entrance from the driveway. We found the home to be very clean, roomy and a great place to relax. We were a party of 4, two couples and we found the facilities great and provided adequate privacy. Each couple had a separate bathroom near their bedroom. The washer and dryer were a definite plus. Debbie came in each day to straighten and leave clean towels. As an added bonus, two nights we had goodies waiting on us when we returned from touring. That was a pleasant surprise. The fresh flowers on the dining table was a great personal touch. TV and Internet service worked fine. Kitchen was clean and well equipped. Full service grocery store one block away. The sunrises were spectacular. We had a very pleasant visit to the Browning area. All transactions with the Farmers were up front and efficient. All questions were answered fully and without delay before the property was rented. If we are in the area again, we would stay there. Thank you Debbie for a pleasant stay."

"We loved our week long stay for UM graduation celebration with family. Home comfortably accommodated 7 of us. Fresh eggs and cookies were super and you can't beat the country location with the river, firepit and broad lawns."

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.

Visitors to Montana Cabins

If you love getting away to cabin rentals, Montana has your number: the state attracts those who like wide open spaces, nature and the outdoors. It is the ideal adventure playground in all seasons for those that enjoy an active vacation. In the winter months, many people are attracted to the many excellent ski resorts. It is also a great family vacation destination, especially if you want to instill in your children an appreciation for nature and the outdoors. You can choose your summertime adventure depending on your interests. Most people like to head out on the various hiking trails. Others like to explore on horseback or mountain bikes. There are also strong western traditions with rodeos and shows taking place throughout the season.

Seasons to Visit Montana

There are two favorite seasons for booking Montana vacation homes, depending on your interests. The summer months are generally the most popular for those who want to participate in outdoor activities and wildlife viewing. It is also the ideal time of year to explore some of the cultural and historic attractions. The peak season in summertime is during July. The second most popular travel season coincides with the annual snowfalls. The ski season starts in December and, if the weather conditions are good, can last until April. The peak ski season is during December and January.
