  • Beautiful cabins - great getaway

"These cabins are adorable! The craftsmanship and attention to detail are incredible. The cabins include everything you need. We were able to have breakfast at the cabin each morning, and grilled dinner one night too. They are very close to town, but nestled in a wooded area that is so peaceful. We saw lots of deer and turkeys. I would highly recommend these cabins."

  • Excellent Location and Fantastic Property!!!

"My husband and I had never been to Whitefish before and chose to stay at the Railway Loft as opposed to a hotel and we are so happy we did! The Loft is so modern, clean and bright! The location is excellent, just a block from all the restaurants and stores. It is also about a two minute drive to the city beach and lake. We spent two days at Glacier National Park and it took us about 25-30 minutes to get to the West Glacier entrance to the park. It is a very easy ride. We also rented a boat for a day at the Lodge at Whitefish marina and it was less than a five minute drive to the marina. The loft's kitchen is equipped with everything one would need. We cooked there every morning and night, except for one. It was so convenient to spend all day out exploring the area and then coming home to home cooked meal. The Loft furnishings are so nice. The queen size bed was great and the TV and internet situation worked out well. The master bathroom is large and has beautiful stone work. I would highly recommend the Railway Loft. It was much, much better than staying at a hotel!!! We will be back for sure!!!!"

  • Perfect place, we will be back to vacation in this home when visiting our family there.

"Our stay in Helena was not for vacation purposes but rather to visit an ailing relative in the hospital who ultimately passed away during our time in Helena. It was extremely important that we spent final hours with her and with each other as a family. This property was our gathering nest to go up and spend time with her and come home to be restored and be together. The home was a home for us, it was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed or wanted. While staying in this house, we met up with family and walked in the historic district enjoying the spring season and memories of downtown Helena and our loved one who left us. I will treasure the time we spent here and how the owner went out of her way IN A BIG WAY to help us through a time of sorrow while being joined together. Thank you and BLESS YOU."

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
