  • I can't imagine staying anywhere else!!!

"This is my 3rd time staying in this apartment and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. This trip was a week long girls vacation. I love visiting Glacier National Park, but it's hard to relax staying in one of the hotels in the park or near the park because of the huge number of visitors staying there. I have a very stressful job as do both of my friends that came with me on this vacation. The quiet serenity of the location and breathtaking views from this apartment are priceless!!! Mike, the owner, lives upstairs and has lived in the Bigfork area for almost 20 years and is a great resource for suggestions of activities to do and places to visit. On this visit he suggested a new restaurant called the Gallery Gourmet....a truly wonderful place....great food and the owners welcome you like family, even on your first visit. The apartment is even more beautiful then the pictures show. For people traveling on a budget, the full kitchen is a major plus. During this recent stay my friends and I went out to eat several times, but we enjoyed being able to cook dinner together every night. Regardless of the length of your stay, I promise that you won't be disappointed staying in this rental. I can't wait to stay there again next year!!!"

  • BEST Location!

"We were a group of nine in Black Eagle. We couldn't have been more comfortable and happy with our house. The house was beautiful and a 1/3 of the price that Big Sky Reservations was charging. We cooked dinner every night and made breakfast every morning. It had 2 coffee pots, full size washer & dryer, boot dryers, clean hot tub, gas grill on the deck, 3.5+ bathrooms, 4 tv's. It snowed everyday we were there and someone came by everyday to shovel our balcony. If there were any questions or issues Big Sky Vacation Rentals came by & helped us right away. We will not stay anywhere else when we return. I wished we booked for two weeks instead."

  • Best of Big Sky Country

"Cannot say enough good things about this cabin and the owners. The craftsmanship of the cabin is impeccable. You can see the care put into building and maintaining it. The owners are fabulously friendly. Booking it and getting there were so easy. The recommendations were excellent. I still cannot get over the views from the cabin. It's not far from town and close to fly fishing access points. It's quiet and relaxing. Wish I was still there, and we hope to be back! Book this cabin if you are in the Bozeman area!"

  • Relaxing 25th Anniversaary

"My husband and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary and we had a get away that was well worth it. The surroundings were so peaceful and just what we needed. Being up in the mountains made us forget reality for a few days and our motto was "life is good"!!! We got to see a hawk land on our front porch and a deer eat fresh raspberries no more than 15 feet from the back deck. The awe and beauty that surrounded us filled our spirit, the hot tub was a plus too :) We are talking about making it a yearly visit. We felt right at home and close enough to shops, white water rafting, zip lining and so much more....life is good!!!"

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
