  • Great place to enjoy Big Sky

"We travelled with our family of 4 and stayed in this awesome condo. We travelled with others that rented at Black Bear, however ours was the best! The kitchen was well equipped with sharp knives (unusual in a rental condo). The beds were comfortable, lots of towels and it was clean. We loved the hot tub and the exquisite views! The garage was large enough for our suburban which was a nice treat (others would not accomadate a vehicle of that size!). We would highly recommend this property and will definitely return! The highlight of out first visit to Montana was the snowmobiling trip to Yellowstone. During our stay we had a 58" snow base and that made for great skiing."

  • Stillwater condo a great location and a great value

"We just spent 6 nights at this Stillwater condo. This place is in a great location and is a great value. It's just a few minutes walk on the road in front of the condo to get to the base area and lifts. The unit was very comfortable, seemed more like home than a Shoshone condo, where we have stayed in the past. The unit is pretty much as described, perfect for us and for our daughter and son-in-law, who were able to come for a few days from Missoula and stayed in the loft. We love to make our own breakfasts and dinner, and brought plenty of food from Bozeman, eating out just one night with the kids at Chet's. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, good knives, etc., has some spices, and other goodies (like teas bags, some coffee) either left by the owner or previous guests. Great coffee pot -- a necessity for us! The ski closet is right outside the door, very convenient. Place was clean, walls nicely painted and accented, nice vintage Big Sky and Brewpub posters on the walls. Nice view out the living room window. Just as a point of information: The dining table is round. There are 4 windsor chairs around it, and one in the master bedroom, totaling 5. There are 3 windsor stools at the counter. So if you had a full house of 7 people eating at the same time, some would be at the table, some at the counter. Obviously not a problem for us. Bill was great to work with. I would not hesitate to stay there again, and probably will if we can the next time we come to Big Sky."

  • Christmas/New Year's

"Condo was the perfect place for overflow family to stay over the holidays. The centrally located condo was extremely well appointed including pantry items in kitchen (thus savings at grocery). The huge north facing windows made the unit bright even on cloudy days; insulated garage was appreciated on the below zero mornings; showers supplied hot water for four; huge washer/dryer; wireless internet was fast even with 4 users at one time; and all around much more pleasant than a couple of motel rooms. I would rate this unit a 6 out of 5 stars if the TV worked. I agree with previous reviewers that directions on how to use the TV/cable along with a channel listing should be left in the unit. A good coffee house is Rock Creek Coffee Roasters on 2nd and Broadway; Fieldhouse Cafe on Minnesota for dining; and the rib roast at Lucky's Grocery on Grand is the best we've even had."
