  • The best!

"This place is a central location to many excellent Montana outdoor adventures. Skiing was our main interest and it certainly fulfilled every expectation of convenience and comfort. We also took advantage of the location to snow shoe. Eagles ,big horn sheep, and moose were sighted during our stay. The bed rooms and kitchen and common rooms are plenty big enough for a dozen or more guests. With the hot tub, pool table and large TV one couldn't ask for more. We look forward to returning to take advantage of other seasonal activities like hiking and fishing."

"While at Glacier Park found this to be most relaxing evenings of our trip. Enjoyed listening to music, playing scrabble, and watching the rain fall. A very clean and roomy cabin."

  • Best Vacation Ever!

"You never know what to expect when you rent sight unseen, but this property exceeds expectations. The cabin is beautiful and in an amazing location, with a bottle of wine awaiting our arrival. After spending a day in Glacier or Whitefish, it was terrific to return to your own own private cabin and relax after a busy day. While there are properties closer to Glacier, the trip to and from Glacier and Whitefish was easy and enjoyable. On the way to the cabin, we always kept an eye out for wildlife and always saw numerous deer and had deer visit us everyday at the cabin. The cabin was spotless upon our arrival and it had everything we needed, including many condiments and other supplies, including laundry detergent etc. Having a full kitchen and washer and dryer made a huge difference. We will definitely be returning to this amazing cabin. The owners, Bob and Janet, were terrific to work with and made sure that our time at the cabin was everything we expected and wanted. Thank you again and can't wait to return. John, Jamie, Max & Ty."

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
