  • BEST PLACE EVER!!!

"This is truly a magnificent place! We absolutely fell in love with this cabin in the Yaak and it has now become an annual vacation for us. The property is packed with beautiful trees and is well maintained. Fishing and hunting is at your doorstep and the outdoor activities are endless. This is the cleanest most comfortable cabin we have ever stayed in. Extremely cosy and well equipped with anything you need for cooking, relaxing or staying warm. This is a Beautifully peaceful area and the best place to get off the grid. During our stay we saw dozens of deer, eagles, hawks, owls, rams, fish and much more. Wildlife is bigger than you can imagine with daily encounters. The bed is extremely comfortable, has heated blankets and couples well with the inviting decor throughout the cabin. It was refreshing to have a nice warm shower which never ran out of hot water too! There is a large porch which was perfect for kicking back, taking in the fresh air, viewing wildlife and drinking our morning cup of coffee. There's a satellite tv, great sound system and a HUGE variety of DVDs to rent. There's also an awesome fire pit directly in front of the cabin. On a clear night you can see thousands of stars miles away from the city lights. RB and Sha are genuinely friendly, EXTREMELY accommodating and will do anything to ensure you have the best stay possible. They are both very knowledgeable about the area. They know all of the great fishing holes, back roads and can recommend the best restaurants nearby. This is truly a phenomenal place to get away. There is no cell service so this is a great way for us to escape from the day to day hustle and bustle. The locals are friendly. Don't be surprised if you receive a wave from almost every car you see on the highway. If we could rate this experience on a scale from 1 to 5 we'd give it a solid 10! Already counting down the days until we return!"

  • Wonderful location and great get-away!

"We stayed 3 nights and we loved it. The amenities are top-notch and we were very well taken care of. We had friends staying in a different cabin that was maintained by a different property management company, and they were very impressed at how well our property management company was in comparison to theirs. We enjoyed our stay very much and would certainly stay there again, hopefully during ski season!"

  • Great in the summer as well!

"Our first trip to Montana and we could not have asked for more. This is a beautiful home, well thought out, carefully and tastefully decorated. Perfect location in big sky, close to many gorgeous hikes-beehive basin and lava lake as weel as easy to get to Yellowstone. We saw moose, elk, fox and deer off the back deck. Bears were also in the area. Perfect for family reunions. Breathtakingly beautiful scenery everywhere. Grand Tetons did not disappoint."

  • Family Vacation

"Our family vacation at Spoon Lake was wonderful! There was my husband and I, our three grown son's and their wives and our 22 month old grandson. The house was a perfect fit for all of us. When we drove up the drive way we were blown away at how beautiful our vacation home for the week was. The pictures on their site do not do it justice! We spent alot of time down on the dock with our grandson who played in the water for hours. We brought kayaks and had a great time exploring Spoon Lake. With just a few miles from Glacier we spent many days there exploring. We also spent a day in Whitefish for shopping. It was so peaceful at this home, we enjoyed just sitting on the beautiful deck listening for the Loons. This is a wonderful rental!"

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
