  • Big sky moonlight

"The condo itself was very nice. It was beautifully decorated and furnished. The only thing that would have made it nicer was for it to be cleaner. We requested an early check in, which was granted. When we arrived our beds were in disarray. There were dirty kitchen towels in the kitchen as well. Some dishes that were in the cabinets and presumed to be clean, actually needed additional washing before we could use them. Again, the condo was very nice, and had more than ample storage."

  • Pictures Don't Do It Justice

"We had three generations staying and we had plenty of room for a big dinner gathering as well room for individual privacy. The home, furnishings (great mattresses) and amenities are lovely. Perfect choice!"

  • Amazing Vacation Home

"Bella Vista is absolutely stunning! We spent three nights there in early October and everyone in our family was blown away by the house. The pictures do not do justice for how beautiful and spacious the home truly is. We spent our weekend visiting, eating, and taking in the spectacular views from the deck. Within the first couple hours of arriving we were already talking about a return visit. Robin and Patti were fantastic to deal with and made arranging the trip very easy. Patti also called once we arrived to ensure everything was going well. You will not be disappointed if you book at Bella Vista. It is an absolutely gorgeous property!"

  • Perfect Fall Weekend

"The best thing we liked was the great views from the house onto Flathead Lake and being right on the water. We brought our kayaks and launched right from the beach below the house. Even my 87 year old mother-in-law joined us for a kayak ride to look at all the beautiful houses along the shore. Navigating the many stairs to get from the house down to the beach was challenging, but a good work-out :) The only disappointment was one very small bathroom for 7 adults. We wished there would have been a second bathroom in the lower level of the home where bedrooms are located, especially during the night. The stairs between the main level of the home to the lower level are narrow and steep probably due to the age of the home. Everyone had a great time and details offered to guests were not overlooked by the owners."

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
