  • Rainbow Bend is an amazing place!

"This place is great! Close to Yellowstone National park! Great restaurants! Chico's hot springs! Floating the river was fantastic. If you are looking for a great/relaxing get-a-way, go to Rainbow Bend! It's peaceful and the views from the cabin are amazing! Highly recommend this vacation home!"

  • Another great stay at a beautiful Montana retreat

"This is the third time we stay at the Coyote Riverhouse and we have never been disappointed. The rooms are always clean, well furnished and comfortable. They even clean your room and make the beds every day like a hotel room. The owner and staff are great to work with, never had any problem. This is a great place for peace and quiet, just like a cabin in the woods. Don't leave before eating at the locals favorite spot; the Echo Lake Café. It's great for either breakfast or lunch."

  • Great Location and wonderful place!

"We LOVED this place! Beautifully appointed, great location on the lake and close to downtown Whitefish. We used this as our home base while we explored Glacier and the area! Clean, lovely decorations, secluded end unit. Great for the family (plenty of space and bathrooms) and the best was the beautiful deck overlooking the lake. The whole family (2 kids - 5 and 12) enjoyed their stay! The condo had all the amenities you needed for a home away from home!"

  • *A little piece of Heaven*

"The house was amazing!!! It is like a dollhouse for the girls and a secret hideout for the boys... very uniqe and cute. Waking up in the the loft in the morning to that beautiful view was invigorating. The kids could sleep in because of the basement bedroom, so I got to enjoy my mornings with even more peace! The river views coming to and from the cabin could not have been more incredible. Words and pictures cannot describe the breathtaking views, the private and peaceful location and the adorable perfection of this cabin. Thank you so much for allowing us to experience a little piece of heaven! We cannot wait to come back!"

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
