"We loved our stay here! There are plenty of bathrooms (which are quite large) so no one is overstepping anyone. More than enough space and beautifully decorated. It is also right downtown, so we were able to walk everywhere. Cannot wait to stay here again on our next visit!"

  • Awesome condo - walk to the lake!

"My family and I stayed in this awesome place, beautful views and lots of places to walk. We had a family of deer slowly walk by just down on the driveway from the deck as we were having our first dinner there! The master us upstairs, which is nice becuase you could leave the kids downstairs with a movie and still have room to entertain upstairs. It was very clean and had everything we needed. You definately need to go see the mountain (Whitefish Ski Resort AKA Big Mountain for locals). Lots to do and see, go to Glacier Park too, no matter what time of year it's stunning! The owner was always available for questions and very helpful. Whitefish being a train town at it's foundation though, you can hear the train from just about anywhere in town. GO! it's beautiful!"

  • Quick Trip

"Though this was a short stay it was a fabulous accommodation for our family. The owners were incredibly helpful and understanding of our needs as we blew through town. It is a lovely apartment and a place we will be staying again when we visit Hamilton. Our kids loved having the ping-pong table and fun games. We all just wish we could have spent more time there."

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
