  • Charming home in quiet setting

"We had a wonderful stay. The house was everything we were hoping for and more. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. The house was well equipped and the entire experience is one we hope to duplicate soon."

  • Wedding weekend from Arizona!

"The house beat our expectations! We have stayed at many VRBO's and this was so accurate to the listing! It was very close to all of the attractions that Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Kalispell and Glacier Park had to offer! The owners, Jacque and Russ, were so accommodating and went above the call of duty! The flowers and grounds are spectacular. The interior of the home was spotless! Would recommend this home to all of our family and friends!"

  • Great family getaway outside Whitefish

"We just got back from an amazing week at this property. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay another week (or two). After our very urban kids got used to the hunting trophies, they settled right in and were all sad to have to leave. Ky was a welcoming host full of helpful information (and was able to give the 2 younger kids in our group a riding lesson) but left us to enjoy the solitude and natural beauty on our own. Location is a relatively quick drive 8 or so miles northwest of town--close enough for grocery store/beer runs and dinners out but remote enough to really feel like you are enjoying great outdoors that city people like us come to Montana to experience."

  • Great vacation

"My wife and I stayed at this location for a wedding we were going to. This was by far one of the nicest places we have stayed. Very clean and quiet and the owners literally thought of everything from great coffee to extra towels and shampoo in the shower. We felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. The owners were also incredibly nice and were responsive if we needed anything. Our next trip back to Montana we will be staying here again. No doubt about it."

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
