  • Beautiful home, great trip

"Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely new rustic home close to Moonlight and Madison with incredible views from almost every window. After a long day skiing, it was so nice to snuggle in by the fire and sooth our aching muscles in the hot tub. Rental agency was great to work with, answered our questions, and was able to handle most requests almost immediately. We enjoyed the convenience of having skis and groceries delivered directly to the house. Great trip - we miss Big Sky!! It is our new ski and snow home."

  • Fantastic Condo!

"3 Friends and myself stayed there recently for a ski trip. The place is amazing, at a great price. We liked everything about it... A close (10 min) drive to the slopes too. Plenty of sleeping space and having 3 full bathrooms is a nice bonus. Highly recommended!!"

"We loved our stay here! There are plenty of bathrooms (which are quite large) so no one is overstepping anyone. More than enough space and beautifully decorated. It is also right downtown, so we were able to walk everywhere. Cannot wait to stay here again on our next visit!"

  • Fantastic House and Location

"The house exceeded our expectations! Everything was beautiful, tasteful, and super clean. The beds were super comfortable! The amenities were numerous. We spent the most time on the deck overlooking Hebgon Lake watching the Ospreys and Eagles. We had the house completely stocked with wonderful food before our arrival, and our activities were all reserved for us. It was really appreciated and the activties were indeed the best. We were there for a week and never bored. We went to Yellowstone a couple days, and Big Sky a couple days, both easy travels. You won't be sorry booking this home."

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
