  • Just felt like home!

"Three of my friends and I just wanted to get away from work, dishes, laundry, and our 'stuff'; so we rented this little cottage for a couple nights. We felt at home the moment we walked in. It was clean, comfortable, and practically furnished and supplied. The view was great, and the air fresh and inviting. We looked the town over, drove around to see all the old houses, and let our imaginations run. We laughed because some of the things in the antique stores were still in use in our own homes. When the air got cool at night, we turned on the stove and ate our candy from the Sweet Palace. We wrapped up in blankets, sat on the porch, watched the moon come up and listened to the dog barking in the distance. The only problem we had was...... we didn't want to go home. So, we called Bob and Nancy and asked if we could stay another night. They laughed and said 'Yes.' (We had to bribe our husbands by promising them fudge from the candy store) I've been doing rentals for almost 15 years, and I've met a lot of owners. These people were the easiest to work with that I've met. We will be going back when we can get away again. Thanks Bob and Nancy."

  • Owners stand by their rentals

"When we arrived on Saturday, August 16 we were astounded at the fabulous view of Lone Mountain, but disappointed with the unit. It had not been cleaned. There was an apparent mixup with the cleaners. The Condo itself was nice but had a musty smell. I called Jim, the owner of the condo, and explained the problem. He was the one that found out it had not been cleaned. I told Jim that we were disappointed, Without any excuses or alibis Jimsaid he would call me back in a few minutes with a solution. He did just as he said. He told me how to get in a fourth floor unit and stayed on the phone to be sure we were satisfied. Were we satisfied? WOW! The unit was wonderful in every way. The Jim and his wife are te best. They will be sure you are taken care of. THANKS JIM"

  • BEAUTIFUL Home!

"My husband and I stayed in this gorgeous lodge on our honeymoon. We absolutely LOVED it. The views from the house are incredible. It's so beautiful. We had birds constantly chirping and flying around as we sat on the patio. The hot tub was a perfect ending to a long day of hiking. The inside of the house is so beautifully decorated and truly feels like a home. I wanted to move into the house for good! It's so cozy and enjoyable. We highly recommend this house for a couple, or for a larger group. It's perfectly situated about 15 miles outside of Bozeman, so you're far enough away from the town but you can get there quickly if you need to. 5 stars!!!"

  • Warm and welcoming home!

"My family stayed in this home for a Staycation weekend. We came from Missoula and Great Falls. As soon as we walked in we knew we were in a welcoming and lovely home. There is ample space to relax and the rooms are well decorated and good size. The beds were all comfortable. The kitchen had all modern amenities, and all cooking equipment, as well as service wares. The deck over looks the Clark Fork River and good sized fenced in back yard. There is stairs and a pathway to the river and we spent lots of relaxing time playing in the water with our two young grandkids and adult children. There was a young man fly fishing near us and the weather was fantastic. In the evening we had a fabulous BBQ, then had a fire in the fire pit to enjoy S'mores. Everything about this house is lovely and we highly recommended to all who are interested in a quiet get away."

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
