"What a wonderful, peaceful respite! We were visiting family in Lewellen and this home made our visit a true pleasure. Plenty of space. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need to cook and serve. We enjoyed the deck so much! We live on a farm and enjoy the outdoors so we very happy to see all the wildlife entering the back yard. Even though the Lake was down, I enjoyed walking along the trails on the Lake's edge. Also, the people in the surrounding communities were so friendly and helpful.
Renee was also a great help!! If we had any questions or issues, she was right there ready to help.
Another thing which was a plus is the home is pet friendly. We have two dogs and hate to leave them behind. Which this trip we did. But when we arrived and looked over the property, we felt secure in knowing if we brought our dogs on a future visit they would be safe and comfortable also.
Look forward to staying there again!"

"My family needed a place to stay on short notice in difficult circumstances. I talked to the owner the evening of one day and the morning of the next day, we completed the arrangements and we met at the house, had a tour and were on our way. Due to our circumstances, we weren't sure how long we would need the property. The owner was flexible, made sure we had what we needed and was very respectful of our need for privacy.
We have stayed in other vrbo properties in multiple states. This property was the most thoughtfully stocked of any we have stayed in so far. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. We had plenty of room to be together and the library provided a quiet place, in addition to the bedrooms, if you needed some alone time. The weather turned unexpectedly cold while we were there and we really enjoyed tea or hot chocolate around the fireplace at night.
I enjoyed taking my grown children and my husband to Valentino's for pizza and the UNL Dairy Store for ice cream, two places I enjoyed as I was growing up...both within walking distance. We would recommend this property as it provides a great base from which to enjoy Lincoln and the surrounding area."
