  • Awesome View, Awesome HOME!!

"We could not have picked a better house for our stay. We had family staying with us who have 2 small boys and this house was Perfect for all. The house is Roomy and Comfortable, the decks have an incredible view which we enjoyed every morning with coffee. There was plenty of parking and room for our boat. We were close to everything, even a beautiful Park, Perfect for the kids. The family was so Pleased that if they come to visit next year, we will rent it again."

  • Cozy chalet

"We stayed here for a few nights and a great time. The house is VERY close to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc - average of 5 minutes everywhere. That was a huge bonus for us. It is also very close to Diamond Peak Ski Resort, which we skied one day, and we absolutely LOVED the mountain. Conditions weren't all that great, as there was not much snow, BUT the mountain was well maintained and the view is incredible!! Back to the house - they have lots of amenities, but are pretty well worn (but totally usable), and the private hot tub was great!! There was no firewood available for the fireplace, although the weather was too nice for us to have one, it would be a nice addition to the house. There are only two bedrooms, and then a futon in the loft - the futon and the bed upstairs are completely visible to eachother, so it didnt work for our 5th person....he slept on the couch instead. But the upper loft area is nice and spacious if you had kids, or other adults who didnt mind sharing/seeing eachother :) Overall, the house was great for what we needed it for, and the price point was right on."

  • Great Place for Large Group

"Our group of 4 families spent a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at the home. There were plenty of space where kids and adults gather for meals and entertainment. The kitchen is stocked with enough utencils/pots/pans for use as we enjoyed a time of Iron Chef competition of our own. There were also alot of sleeping spaces. It escaped me that one king suite also has its loft with mattresses! The attic room was a huge hit for the kids no doubt. They had to fight for space. The owner Marilyn is easy to work with. Though she lives far away, she is just a phone call away. She was also flexible and allowed us to check in and out at a time that was convenient for us. I looked everywhere and this house is most affordable. Being in the cul-de-sac is nice and quiet. I just wish there was more time to explore the immediate area. Since Diamond Peak was close, we went Mt Rose which is only 15 min away so as the summit for sledding. All in all, a great experience staying at this place and will bring the group back again in the future!"
