"I often think back on our great stay at this wonderful lake-side estate. We traveled with another couple and anticipated really enjoying the Lake Tahoe area as neither of us had been there for over 20 years. However, our plans were sidetracked once we got to the house. We ended up lazy on the deck, reading, cocktails, coffee, lunch, well you get the picture. Our big ideas of driving around the lake, going out to a beautiful dinner on the lake (why? when we had the best table of all right here), renting a boat at the nearby marina, kayaking, hiking, well, none of it took place. We never wanted to leave the stunning ambiance. We did venture to the close by supermarket as we enjoyed making our meals in the beautiful new island granite kitchen (which was a surprise to see, as the old kitchen is in the online pictures), where we all cooked and chatted and looked out over the lake. Maybe when we return, and we certainly will, we will see a little bit more of the area. But now we know it will be hard to tear ourselves away from this estate on the lake. Sara was so gracious and always available by text if we had a question. Thank you Sara and Randy for allowing us to enjoy your home and hospitality."

"This is the perfect Tahoe vacation home!
You will feel like you are in a "home" for your vacation and not in a vacation rental.
Great quiet neighborhood, loved going for walks. Nice, friendly neighbors too!
Centrally located, within minutes to shops and casinos.
Beautiful private beach just a short walk away.
Home is very, very clean and has everything you will need.
Kitchen fully stocked-pots,pans,toaster,blender, crockpot, etc.
Gas bbq on deck.
Beds are comfortable, bathrooms stocked with towels.
Home is very spacious and has a great floor plan.
Love that master bedroom (very large master bedroom & bath!) is on upper level and other bedrooms are downstairs.
perfect for families with teenagers, or young adults.
Large laundry room with sink downstairs also.
We have rented several other homes in Tahoe over the years, some costing less and some more.
This is by far the nicest, and most like home.
I highly recommend this property.
Our family had a wonderful time here!
Judi was a pleasure to work with and we look forward to staying here again.
Thank you for everything!"

"We vacation in the same neighborhood every year and love the area. This year we decided to stay at the Bear Den property because we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and wanted to stay at a truly beautiful place that had something for everyone. Starting with the house itself: lots of room to spread out, decorated to create a very warm relaxing feeling, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable. The backyard was amazing. After spending the day at the lake it was perfect to sit outside on the back deck to enjoy playing cards, sitting in the hot tub and making s'mores while sitting around the fire pit. Of course breakfast and dinner were enjoyed outside on the large picnic table. Afternoon naps were taken out on the patio on the large comfy couch. Once parked, you really do not need to get back in your car. The lake and Zephyr Cove Resort are both a couple of minutes walk from the house."

"Pinewild is an upscale-gated condominium community right on the lake. We have been staying at Pinewild since the 1990's but never on the meadow. This unit over looks the meadow with a great view and is very quite. The meadow was used to film the opening scene of the original TV series Bonanza.
It is only a short walk from the front door to the lake and a wonderful beach. This unit is a great bargain at the nightly or weekly rate. If you love the lake and a Tahoe setting this is the place you want to stay. You are only minutes from a large shopping center and the casinos. You are just across the street from great dinning and a sports bar that has great hamburgers and pizza. We are in the process of checking our calendar for a return visit.
