  • Lovely home that exceeded our expectations!

"You know that moment when you first walk into the place that is to be your "home" for the next week? The words out of our mouths were "Wow, this is really nice!" Betty's home is quiet and comfortable, very clean and lovely. The furnishings are nice and it is decorated very tastefully. Our favorite spot was the patio overlooking the waterfall and pond. The waterfall runs all day and lights are turned on it after dark. We so enjoyed relaxing there each day with a meal, a drink or a book. Betty was kind, helpful and great to work with. The next time we are in the Mesquite area and need a place to stay, Betty's home will be our number one choice!"

  • A little bit of heaven at Wolf Creek!

"We adored this beautifully decorated, equipped and homey condo. The view from the deck was stunning. We really enjoyed sitting there with our morning coffee applauding the early bird golfers as they ventured onto the course and watching the gorgeous sunsets. Loved the totally separate suites and the very, very comfortable beds. Could not have asked for a better vacation retreat!"

  • Worked perfectly for us!

"The property was very nice and clean and the beds were all comfortable. Being able to bring our Bostons with us was a HUGE plus. I read on the description that there are 2 casinos within walking distance. I have to 100% disagree with that. You can walk, but I am not sure why you would want to. It is a LONG walk with LOTS of very steep hills. My friend is a runner and the hills gave her a workout. For the price we paid, I think it is ridiculous that we had to replace the toilet paper we used. Other than that, I think it was a great deal and we would stay there again."

Mesquite Travel Tips

Mesquite Vacation Rentals Offer Great Desert Vacations

Mesquite is a growing town, about 79 miles northwest of Las Vegas. It offers a surprising wealth of attractions and activities around the clock in this sunny desert state and has easy access to some stunning state parks. In fact, the surrounding area boasts six championship golf courses, 12 national monuments, six national forests, three national recreation areas and many more state parks. Mesquite is set in the picturesque Virgin River Valley with a majestic mountain backdrop and some stunning sunset views. The abundant sunshine and mild winter climate make this a great year-round destination.

Places to Visit from Your Mesquite Cabins

The bright lights of Las Vegas are just an hour's drive from Mesquite and offer great shopping, dining and shows as well as thousands of slots and casino gaming tables. Visitors can ride the roller coaster at New York, New York, enjoy the free light show at Fremont Street after dark, admire the paintings in the Venetian and the works of art in the Bellagio, take a gondola ride along the replicated canals of Venice, see the galleons battle outside Treasure Island, watch the volcano erupt at the Mirage, and enjoy the dancing fountain show at the Bellagio.

In contrast, the natural wonders of the Hoover Dam, Cathedral Gorge and the Valley of Fire State Park make great day trips from your Mesquite lodging. Lake Mead offers boat trips and the breathtaking rock formations in Zion National Park are stunning.

How to Reach Your Mesquite Lodging

Mesquite is conveniently located on Interstate 15, just 79 miles from Las Vegas and 36 miles from St. George, over the border in Utah. Ideally, a car can be used for exploring the area. For those flying to Nevada, the McCarran International Airport at Las Vegas is just 79 miles from Mesquite. It has daily flights to most major cities in the U.S. and further afield.

The Benefits of Staying in Nevada Vacation Rentals

Choosing to stay in a vacation home rather than a hotel room in Mesquite has two big advantages. Vacation homes offer far more space to spread out, particularly for families, and the well equipped kitchens make cooking for the family very easy. Vacation homes also work out to be much cheaper per head than a hotel, especially if you are sharing the lodging with friends or family. A vacation rental is a great base for exploring the area, providing a comfortable bed to return to each night (or early morning!) without having housekeeping knocking on the door.

Mesquite Vacation Rentals – Weather and Seasons

Mesquite enjoys an amazing 330 days a year of sunshine per year, making it ideal for golf, hiking, touring and other outdoor pursuits. Although the summer months see average temperatures exceed 100 F ( 37 C), for the rest of the year Mesquite enjoys daily temperatures of between 60 to 90 F (15 to 32 C) and it has almost zero rainfall. The town also has particularly low humidity.

Things to Do Locally from Your Nevada Vacation Rentals

The primary activity in Nevada for many is gambling, and Mesquite offers some gaming opportunities for those who enjoy casinos. Championship golf is also popular in Mesquite which is home to the Golf Channel's "Big Break," an amateur competition for golfers with different skill levels and backgrounds. Falcon Ridge, with its majestic views, and Wolf Creek, which was named one of the top public golf courses by Golf Digest, head an impressive list of courses.

Spa treatments, fine restaurant dining, shopping and annual festivals can all be part of your Mesquite vacation experience. The town regularly hosts events such as the Remax World Long Drive Championship and the Mesquite Days Festival. Outdoor activities include mountain biking, ATV riding, hiking, nature tours and scenic drives. There is also a local shooting range.
