  • Great Property

"This was a very good rental experience. The property was just as advertised. The home was well appointed with comfortable furnishings, Netflix was an added bonus. The owner was exceptional, very helpful and responsive to all our query's. We had a couple of very minor problems that were resolved very quickly by the caretakers. We certainly would rent this unit again if we returned to Las Vegas"

  • Wonderful stay

"We stayed in the lower guest house. When we walked in we were shocked at how nice it was. Much better than staying in a hotel or casino. They had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. We didn't hear much from the owner, but when we did, he was very friendly. It's also only a couple blocks from the Silverton Casino and a few minutes from the strip. This was very convenient for us, since some of our family was staying at the Silverton. I would recommend this to any couple looking for a great place to stay in Vegas."

  • #404499

"As Minnesotans visiting Las Vegas in February, my husband and I greatly enjoyed not only the warmth outside, but the warmth of décor inside this home. The owners took great care to make it a very comfortable visit. The house was immaculate; well-stocked with supplemental food items, such as condiments and paper products; and plenty of extra towels, blankets, etc. We loved sitting outdoors in the beautifully landscaped backyard, and walking the path in a nearby park. The owners kept in touch with us to ensure everything was fine. We would highly recommend renting this property!"

  • Great House, Great stay

"We had a great stay. We came in for meetings at hotels but it was great to be able to come back to a house that we could cook and hang out in. And we saved a ton of money vs getting hotel rooms for each person. The house has a full 6 bedrooms with beds, another bedroom downstairs that would make 7 that we didn't really use that I think has a fold out couch, and upstairs there is an area with two queen beds (which would be bedroom 8) so there is plenty of sleeping space. That area upstairs is outside two bedrooms so it's not private. It worked fine for us but you should be aware. Pros: The place is large and nice. The back yard has a covered patio area which was awesome to work outside. Pool table and TV room with large sectional was great. Great curb appeal so was great to have clients or friends stop in. Mark was great and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The pool was great, and the large living area off kitchen was awesome as well to hang. Cons: (not many of you aren't too picky) It's not brand new so there are some querks you will need to live with. In wall micro doesn't work but there is one on the counter that does. One of the electric burners only goes to high (Mark told us all these things when checking in). There is stuff in the garage being stored, but it didn't affect us using the ping pong table or fooseball. Upstairs carpet is dated and the house was clean but probably could use a deep cleaning and some fixes to base boards and other small aesthetic issues. Overall we loved our stay and will return and recommend to friends."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
