  • Wonderful house- great value!

"Our extended family had a wonderful week staying at Jeff's house. There are plenty of bedrooms with comfortable beds, tons of things to do (pool table, karaoke machine, hot tub, heated pool, inground trampoline, bicycles etc.) The kitchen is large with high-end appliances and more small appliances than I have at my home. We had two small problems and even though we never got the sauna working hot, the manager was quite attentive to our issues. The very best thing about this property though was the location; there is a private neighborhood beach a few streets away, but the house borders state park land- if you go out the back gate a path takes you to the lake, small coves of sandy beach or within 10 minutes a marina where you can rent jetskis or paddleboard, take a cruise, play volleyball etc. It really was a wonderful trip- and the house was more than we could have wished for!"

  • What a Great Place for a Family Vacation

"I found a picture on the internet of Lake Las Vegas ("LLV"), when I put in "Nevada Lakes" to my Google search. After seeing the picture, I started researching it more and planning a vacation to this destination. I am happy I found Mike's condo via the VRBO site, as it accommodated all of our needs during our stay at a reasonable price. We gained pool and parking access, stayed in a beautiful condo and slept in a very comfortable king bed. It was truly a home away from home. Coin operated laundry facilities are available on the lower floor. A few words about Lake Las Vegas: we thought it was a hidden gem. It was quite, peaceful with hot weather, a great swimming pool, a nice lake (can rent all sorts of water equipment to explore the lake too) and high end restaurants all in a minute of walking distance. If travelling with older children, people can drive to the Las Vegas Strip in approximately 20 minutes, while if travelling with young children, I recommend buying a day access (Mon to Thu only) to the Westin Hotel's pool, across from this resort. I also recommend visiting Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam, while staying at LLV."

  • Terrific!!

"Our family had a terrific stay at this tastefully remodeled unit (kudos to the owners) located at the shores of North Lake Tahoe....the views from the deck of the lake and surrounding mountains are unforgettable. We're going to miss our daily meals, etc, sitting on the deck overlooking the lake and also the many activities available in the surronding area.....unit is very well maintained and owners were most accomodating...next year can't come soon enough!"

  • Summer Fun in the forest

"My 2 daughters, my husband and I stayed here in the forest for a week. We searched a long time to find the ideal townhouse and found it ! The place was very well appointed, great comfy beds and beautiful layout with high ceilings and huge windows. Star gazing on the private deck at night was fun for my 2 girls. They think they saw a bear! Come to find out it was just a dream. They managed to claim the lovely upstairs bed before we could say no. The pool and spa in the clubhouse were fabulous. We walked around the village and collected pine trees. Thank you Lily for making us feel welcome. Rob, Laura, Ebie and Tilly"

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
