"Our family just loved this spacious and well appointed home for our annual gathering!! The wonderful hiking trails just out the front door, the abundant natural light, ping pong area, open deck and hot tub, well appointed kitchen areas and convenient access to downtown were all there. Don't miss the evening outdoor Shakespearean plays at Sand Harbor!!! Best Ever!!!"Guest: David & Mary G. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 29, 2014View listing
"We just returned from our family vacation in Vegas, George and Caryns house had everything we needed, the 4 bedrooms were perfect for 3 adults and 2 kids (10 and 15). The house is so perfect it was hard to leave to go exploring, in fact, 2 of the adults didn't leave choosing to sun bathe instead. The pool was awesome, super clean and complete with loungers for floating around the pool on. Overall a fantastic stay, we would definitely stay here again."Guest: Dave M. "We had a terrific time staying at this condo. The location was outstanding -- right near shops, restaurants, etc. and a short walk to the beach. The condo itself was in a great spot in the McCloud complex, looking out into the woods and not on a main path. The hot tub was right across from the condo which was a nice bonus. The inside of this condo is in great shape and it is extremely comfortable and well stocked. We had lots of meals at the dining room table and the living room was extremely comfortable. A huge extra were the very comfortable beds. We will definitely be back as this was a fabulous condo for our family and friends."Guest: Jessica W. "We were relocating halfway across the country with basic necessities, extensive desert plant collection and pets (cats) in tow…and needing a place to stay for 3 ½ months while our new NV home was completed. Our needs were intense to say the least! Enter Hinman Ranch and its owners – a perfect respite and most dedicated gracious hosts. When we arrived we found everything exactly as described, clean as a whistle (the cleanest rental I’ve seen in fact) and easy to manage. There was plenty of room to store all our things, both inside and out, and we were able to accommodate vacationing family members without feeling like we were living on top of each other. During our time there we got to know the welcoming folks in the safe environs of Logandale and Overton and enjoyed the pace of life there. It’s worth noting that we were there during the hottest months of the desert climate and the air conditioner worked like a champ to keep us cool. We felt very blessed to be able to stay here and would recommend this property without hesitation to anyone considering it."Guest: Pamela Y. Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals
If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.
If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging
Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.
