  • Wonderful condo, ideally situated with stunning views of Wolf Creek Golf Course.

"We cannot provide anything but POSITIVE comments about this condo, its owners and the furnishings. Quality and so comfortable. We hope to return in the future and extend our stay. Missing it already."

  • FANTASTIC DESERT OASIS!

"I highly recommend this property to whoever is looking for a great desert oasis on their next vacation. The owner (Calvin) was very hospitable in helping us get set up with the instructions on using the pool/spa, televisions, apple tv's, etc. As the pictures show, this is a very nice, and surprisingly large home. The master bedroom is gigantic and we actually had our two younger boys sleep in there a few nights of our stay. The Master Bathroom has the coolest shower known to man. The kitchen is a great size for entertaining, and is stocked with all the needed pans/pots/utensils, etc. The fridge is a great size, plus there is a second full size refrigerator in the garage (with freezer) and also a small refrigerator outside for cold drinks near the pool. The 2nd master bedroom was good size as well (with it's own walk in closet that we set a crib in to keep the baby sleeping), and the 3rd bedroom is very large. The beds are very comfortable, and the soaps that the owner puts out for you in the showers/bathrooms is high-end as well. We very much enjoyed our stay and would plug in our iPhone's to listen to music on the home speaker system throughout the house, patio and outdoor rock speakers. The golf course that the home sits on is also pretty quiet, and the home sits up a bit, so you don't have to worry about random golfers spying on your pool time. Location wise, the home is just 15 minutes outside of the strip. There is a Trader Joes, Target, Costco and plenty of restaurants within 10 min of the home. Also, I would highly recommend taking a day to head to Mead Lake and renting a Pontoon Boat ($300 for the day) - great way to view Hoover Dam and much more fun! Having said all of the above, I would HIGHLY recommend this property for anyone's vacation needs. A true Desert Oasis."

  • Perfect for two couples

"We stayed at this pleasant townhome in late March. It was a great location for the guys to take off and fish in Pyramid Lake. Easy drive for them and easy drive for the gals to go shopping at Sparks and Reno's numerous retail establishments. This townhome was perfect for two couples since there are identical master suites plus a half bath. The kitchen was well stocked, gas grill worked great, we were very comfortable here. Thank you."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
