  • Great place to stay

"We had a great vacation. I would not say its the safest for young children due to the steepness of the stairs. Is great for family gatherings and or people looking to have a comfortable place to stay while they go to functions."

  • Great home!

"What a beautiful home Little Pine Lodge is. Thank you you so much for sharing your home with us. As soon as we walked in, we all went Wow! The home is inviting, warm and oh so comfortable. It's well stocked with everything you could need. I really can't say anything negative about the home, it was just so much better than expected. We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to come back in the future and stay. We've rented other homes in the area, but none can stand up to this home. A big thanks again to the Foster's for sharing their little piece of paradise with us!"

  • Nice home away from home

"This a great place to stay off strip in nice neighborhood, great location really close to everything. Strip 10 minutes away. We were down for the NHRA drag races so this worked out well. It will be nicer after second bed is upgraded. I noticed it was set up for a business traveler too. Very clean and its just a nice affordable place to stay. Carrie was very nice and easy to get a hold of. She gave us some good suggestions of places and things to do. Thanks Carrie!"

  • Fabulous home !

"My husband and I rented this home for a week and enjoyed the peace and quiet that it afforded us. The views were spectacular and I loved having my morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. There would be plenty of room for couples wanting a get away or a family. Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful home for us to enjoy."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
