"I’ve been renting this property for New Year last 5 or 6 years. Absolutely LOVE IT!!!!! The views of the lake are spectacular. The home is perfectly set up with all four bedrooms having their own bathrooms. Leaving aria is big and nicely set. The kitchen is a gourmets delight with all professional appliances. Just LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!"

  • Tahoe Ski Vacation

"Everything good: Nice location, warm, comfortable, roomy. Good location if you want to ski both Heavenly Valley and Northstar. Owners were very responsive and easy to work with. I recommend doing an inventory before shopping for supplies. I didn't, and purchased a lot of things other renters had purchased and left, so now there's at least a year's supply of several items. The king-sized bed in the master suite is as hard as stated in a previous review. I'd like to meet the person who sold that mattress to the owners: he/she must be one heck of a good salesman. Not a big deal for me because I was alone; I just slept in one of the other beds. The house definitely needs a media/entertainment upgrade. If you must have HDTV, stereo, etc., you had better supply your own. I don't need that, but I needed internet service and the owners made arrangements for me to get it. All-in-all, a very nice place."

  • Private Oasis off the the Strip

"Our entire family of 10 adults stayed in this beautiful property over Labor Day weekend. It was so spacious, secluded, and had a pool nicer than most of the resorts on the Strip! The location is just perfect. There were grocery stores and shopping within a mile or two, and we were only a short ride from the airport and the action on Las Vegas Blvd. But we ended up spending most of our time around the pool as a family. So many great memories made here! We absolutely loved every minute of our stay and would recommend this house to anyone!!"

  • A stunning home at Lake Tahoe

"My family and I rented this gorgeous home for early June for my son's college graduation party. What an incredible place to stay!! It is not just a perfect size for a family of 12 but impeccably renovated and furnished, with comfortable and first rate furniture. My grown children were so impressed that they have asked that we stay here at least once and maybe twice a year. Everyone has a bathroom, there are stunning views and sounds of Lake Tahoe and a very private drive where there is no traffic at all. The owners are JUST THE BEST!!! Very accommodating and available. The Kitchen is a gourmet chiefs dream and the appliances are all professional. This is like having your very own luxury home on the Lake. No expense has been spared in making this a great place to e. It is peaceful, restful and so comfortable it is hard to get up to move and actually go see the beauty of South Lake Tahoe. I have been vacationing in Lake Tahoe for over 30 years and we frequently chose a different place to stay as there is always room to improve, but I do believe that after years of searching I have found nirvana, a place that cannot be beat. There simply is no better place to stay at South Lake Tahoe, if you want first rate accommodations and the most sought after views in the country this is the place for you."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
