  • Comfortable condo with an excellent view

"If you're in search of a no frills rental at a great price, this is the spot. While it lacks all the bells and whistles that other rentals offer (which shows up in their high $$ pricetag), this condo had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend in Tahoe... and for a great deal! The kitchen was nicely stocked with all the dishes, glassware, and flatware we would need. The heaters worked well in keeping the unit warm and the unit was stocked well with bath towels, linens, and all other basic necessities . The location is right where i was hoping it would be...very close to the Stagecoach lift to Heavenly. The only negative I could think of was that the warm shower temperature changes drastically if a toilet in the unit is flushed. We look forward to staying again in the future!"

  • Not fancy but very comfortable!

"Although this is an older unit and could use some updates, everything was there that made it your home away from home. The beds were really comfy! Great tvs everywhere! The only negative was no wifi - which is clearly stated but we just didn't notice. It helped to keep us from working all night while on vacation :-) Great communication by texting and good communication by phone. The price and location were great!"

  • Good

"Check in was fine, a little tough to find in the dark No parking pass for the garage, was delivered the next day. WiFi password not left in the room, had to call to get it. No soap of any kind in the bathroom No code to get in the gym Beautiful location close to Lake Mead. Quiet, peaceful, friendly people. Pool was great!"

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
