"My husband and I and our dog George traveled to this beautiful house and spent 6 weeks in Vegas soaking up the mild weather and enjoying this well appointed home - beautifully decorated and super clean. Luxury and sun! We are not gamblers, but enjoyed day trips to wilderness areas such as Red Rock Canyon and Desert National Wildlife Refuge. The walk to the nice little Pueblo Park was a perfect daily exercise for me."

  • Loved this condo!

"Just got back to Canada yesterday from staying at this great Lake Las Vegas condo. It was exactly what we were looking for. The condo is clean and spacious and the building is immaculate. Mike was awesome when it came to responding to emails. He told us of 1 place to go (Big Horn Park) on Lake Mead and it was 1 of our favourite places we went to on our trip! The grounds are quiet and quaint. People are nice. No bells and whistles of the Strip. My husband was relieved we stayed at this condo (The whole trip was a surprise for his bday) and not in a hotel on the Strip. The drive to the Strip was only 25 mins. Far enough to escape the noise and lights and chaos. Great vacation!"

  • Clean, convenient, and close to activities

"The cabin was very spacious and was able to hold seven guests along with the family dog. The bedrooms were large enough two fit two guests per room without having the feeling of being crammed. The bathroom was also very comfortable and had enough hot water for everyone. Zephyr Cove is located at the epicenter of many activities found in South Lake Tahoe. Grocery stores, shopping outlets, and casinos were just minutes away. We were able to rent a boat from the Zephyr Cove Marina which was located a few miles away from the cabin. Seventeen miles from the cabin was Mount Tallac, one of the largest mountain trails that my kids were able to hike. The views were breathtaking at every angle of the cabin. On the deck guests can use the grill or soak in the hot tub with a view of the lake. The beach below the cabin was very clean and seclusive. My kids enjoyed the included kayaks and were able to use them during the hottest days we were visiting. This cabin was worth every penny. We appreciated the beach towels and bath towels that were included in the package and it was nice to know that there were bikes for the kids to ride. Though we were not able to roast marshmallows or explore the bike trail, we will definitely put them on our to-do list for our return. I highly recommend this cabin for any traveler looking for a great view of the lake and great adventures that surrounds it. The cabin offers a feeling of togetherness, which my family greatly appreciated. Those travelers who are more sedentary than my kids will also find plenty of adventures in the casinos, shops, and dining establishments all just a short drive from the cabin."

Nevada Travel Tips

Getting to Nevada Vacation Rentals

There are two major travel hubs in Nevada. The most well known one is the city of Las Vegas which is located in the southern part of the state. Las Vegas International Airport is one of the busiest in the country and hosts all major airlines from North America. In addition, it receives a number of international carriers from Europe, the Far East, and South and Central America. The second major airport is located in the far northwest. Reno Tahoe International Airport provides access to the ski slopes and beautiful lake area and Lake Tahoe vacation rentals. If you really want to explore Nevada, the best way is by road. The state has an extensive road network that is well maintained. If you plan to travel during the summer months, make sure you have a vehicle with air conditioning. It can get exceptionally hot during the day and air conditioning makes the journey far more enjoyable

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
