  • This is how to do Vegas!

"Best. Vacation. Ever. We love going to Las Vegas, but not always the limitations of staying in a hotel. We had three couples out for a long weekend, and we got to enjoy the best of Vegas (restaurants, casinos, shows, etc.) while also enjoying the luxurious comforts of an upscale private home: plenty of space for everyone, our own pool and hot tub, beautiful decorations and numerous amenities. The M Casino is only a few minutes away and highly recommended. And getting to the Strip is only a 10-15 minute car ride or about $40 for a taxi if you don't want to drive yourself. Highly recommended!"

  • Great location near Red Rocks!

"We rented this house for a week long climbing trip in Red Rocks. The house fit a group of 8 very well. Hot tub was great after climbing. House was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Owner was very friendly and accessible."

  • A view to DIE FOR in a MANSION worth living in.

"This house is AMAZING. The view from any room in the house is like something out of TIME or National Geographic. It's the best cabin by far that I've been in for large groups of 15+. The pictures really don't do this house justice. It can easily entertain 50 people during the day and still not feel crowded at all. I rented it for my birthday with about 20 of my friends. One night we even played 2 rounds of hide and go seek. We were able to do everything from making a feast to spending the night in relaxation with beverages. The walk in refrigerator came in handy when storing enough food and beverages for the entire weekend without breaking a sweat. The kitchen is a cooks dream. With double ovens and two gas cook tops we were able to prepare about 100 pounds of food in one go. The indoor hot tub was a God send on the cold Tahoe nights after a long day on the slopes. There was a bunch of space and the view was spectacular. The house manager Tony is also a great guy. He was knowledgeable about the house and all its functions. He was always just a phone call away to make sure that we had all our needs taken care of. He missed one of my calls at 7pm on a Sat and I was immediately called back within minutes and resolved my problem. I would def recommend this MANSION for any large group gatherings. Also be sure to take lots of pictures of the mountains and lake since there are few places with a view nicer than this one. BOOK THIS MANSION and I PROMISE YOU WON'T REGRET IT."

  • Lake Tahoe

"We had an amazing weekend at Lake Tahoe. The condo was excellent, clean and the beds are very confy. The condo is supplied with all items needed to cook etc. It is very close to many activities in Lake Tahoe stores, casinos, snow. :) They have a amazing private beach which we took beautiful pictures. We had a awesome family night playing games by the fire place. It also has a deck with a BBQ pit. I can't wait to go back.. :)"

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
