  • Fantastic condo for a Conference at the MGM and all that Vegas has to offer!

"I booked this place for the great reviews and the great price. I was in Vegas for a 5-day conference hosted at the MGM Conference Center. I agree with the other reviewers about the important things: great bed, bathroom, kitchen, living area, and balcony. Very clean! And as a bonus, the owner was easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. She even helped me get tickets for a couple of shows. I thought this would be a convenient location, but it was much better than I guessed. Here's a few reasons why this place is great. First, this place is not like a typical hotel room. The mini-bar was stocked with snacks and drinks. The owner charges a minimal amount to cover her costs. The owner provides shampoo, soaps, and conditioner. She gave an informative tour of the building and room amenities my first day. Second, this is the absolute closest place to stay for a conference, it's a 3 minute walk from door-to-door if you take the 1 flight of stairs. Others I met staying at the main MGM and other Towers said it was a 10-15 walk. When you get short breaks at a conference it's nice to be able to get to the room and back in such a short amount of time. There's a nice walkway from the tower to the conference center, and your room key gets you in the side door not open to the general public. This saves a few minutes each trip not having to walk around the entire building. I bought a mono-rail pass to go explore other parts of Vegas. The boarding station is just a short walk from the tower. That meant I didn't have to pay for a rental car or taxi, but I still got the see a lot of the city and casinos. I will definitely stay here again."

  • We Loved Staying Here

"We stayed in this town home for a few days in October. It's very clean, updated, and comfortable. You'll feel right at home. The bed was very comfortable and had very soft sheets, which we appreciated. The kitchen has lots of nice dishes and cookware. We didn't use them, but there are even some starter spices and things like that in the cabinets. After having spent several days on the road prior to arriving, we appreciated having a nice kitchen to cook some meals in rather than having to eat out. We also were happy to have a washer/dryer in the unit. The condo is located near restaurants and shops and is short walk or drive to the Incline Beach area, which was really beautiful. The property surroundings were clean and very quiet. The price was reasonable for the area and quality. The owners were always very friendly and responsive prior to and after our stay. Our deposit was even refunded the same day we left, so you really can't ask for a better experience. We'd definitely stay here again when in the area!"

  • Sitting on top of Kingsbury Grade!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view is fabulous, the home is very comfortable, clean, and the kitchen stocked with everything we needed. During our stay, we mostly chilled and this home was perfect for that. I am not sure if I would rent in the winter because of the steep drive up, but in October of this year, it was perfect!!"

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
