  • Girls Weekend

"This VBRO property is a gem! Small, but perfectly appointed. This was supposed to be a ski trip, but both of us were sick so we ended up spending more time in the condo than we had planned. Sitting on the sofa and gazing out at the lake was a treat. Pros: - The sunsets were beautiful, but we thought the sunrises were even better! - The rain shower was fantastic and it was a nice added touch to provide shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. - The kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciated the selection of spices and were also thrilled to find a full sized coffee maker and nice, big coffee mugs. - The Murphy bed was very comfortable. Much better than a sofa sleeper. - We enjoyed a location away from the crowds and outside of town. - Had we been able to ski, the location was perfect for accessing the Nevada runs. Cons (very minor!): - Everyone in the building shares internet access. We had trouble getting all our devices connected to the router. If internet access is important to you, connect your most important devices first. We never were able to get our laptops connected...had to rely on iPads for access. - For us, the location was a positive. If you want to be near the action, though, you'll have to drive down to it. Spencer was very easy to work with and very responsive. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will return."

  • Vegas Homestyle!

"First time in Vegas staying off the strip and in a house. We loved it and will definitely do it again. The house was just as described. We rented a car from airport and it came in very handy. It was different not being on the strip, but we enjoyed Vegas none the less. It was by far the best vacation I could have hoped for when I chose to rent a house. Thanks to the homeowners! See you again soon!"

  • Quiet and clean

"This condo was great! Very clean, bed was comfortable, had all the amenities, walls were thick so we never heard anyone above us or next to us. Very close to the golf courses and casinos. Even took a short drive to spend the day in Vegas. I would love to stay here again, if I travel to Mesquite again. Property management co was easy to deal with. Good people."

  • It was a great place for us!

"The upstairs space was perfect for preparing meals, eating and just plain hanging out together. It was also nice that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom downstairs. There were 15 of us, so it didn't seem crowded at all. Views were awesome and the owner was very accommodating and easy to talk to. Pretty easy beach access and close to shopping. All in all, it was a great spot for our weekend reunion!"

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
