  • Girls Weekend

"This was perfect for a girls getaway weekend. It is close to The Strip and Airport. We did drive in, however we taxied to the Casino's. Lot's of room and the kitchen is well stocked. Very clean and the bedding is professionally cleaned. The house was a little warm when we arrived, but it was also 100 degrees outside, but it eventually cooled down. All the ladies said they would definitely come back."

  • Great value and accommodations!

"This condo was perfect for 4 adults and two kids. Belinda was always available to answer questions and was very hospitable. The large screen TV and barbecue made Football Sunday a blast! It was also just a short walk to the beach and the Hyatt, which made enjoying cocktails that much better. We will definitely be staying here in the future."

  • Perfect for family ski getaway

"Our family had a wonderful 4 nights in this condo and we recommend it highly. It's clean, well-appointed, and very accessible. Unlike many ski condos, it has a lot of natural lighting. It is wonderfully located for accessing the Diamond Peak resort and is still very to the restaurants, etc. in Incline Village. We'll definitely try to rent this unit again!"

  • Great view

"A view we'd never get tired of and the owner was great to work with. Rustic, but modern touches like flat screen TVs. Has everything you need to feel at home, and it's a short walk to a great beach (or there's a small beach right there in front of the place)."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
