"Great Place for extended families. Upstairs bedrooms are "dorm" style and a good layout for kids of all ages. 2 bedrooms downstairs are roomy and comfortable for adults. We have stayed there 4 times and have really enjoyed ourselves. Easy walk to private homeowner's beach."Guest: Packy Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 21, 2014View listing
"Thank you Melanie for accommodating our stay. We loved being a tad remote from the Vegas activities and traffic so the location is perfect. The condo is extremely comfortable in all aspects, a perfect getaway for relaxation and a welcome haven after a busy day of hiking and climbing awesome rock formations! We took recommendations from the guest book and enjoyed some amazing meals in the Village just down the street. You'll hear from us again when we plan our next trip to Nevada. We must return to visit the National Parks that were unavailable during our stay! However, Nevada has great State Parks that should not go unnoticed. Thank you so much!"Guest: Happy Valley Date of Stay: October 2013 Review Submitted: October 15, 2013View listing
"This house was exactly what we needed. We went there with 2 other couples and the house has more than enough space. The pool, spa and all other amenities were perfect. We will definitely contact Cheryl again for our next visit."Guest: Gert N. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 29, 2014View listing

Nevada Travel Tips
Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals
If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.
If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.
Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging
Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.
