  • Relaxing but close to everything!

"My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary weekend. We have been to Vegas many many times, and we will definitely be staying here from now on. The location is great, with moving walkways to the MGM casino. The owner met us to check us in and give us a tour of the room which was great - very personable and we got to skip the line checking in at the main desk. The room was great; as you can see from the photos there is a great balcony for breakfast or whatever, plus kitchen stuff so we could make breakfast in our room (in the comfy provided robes) instead of having to go out into the world first thing in the morning. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. I took full advantage of the big tub for a couple of great bubble baths. Another benefit of renting directly from the owner was that we got to skip the checkout line - just left our keys in the unit and we were done. The room was very clean and maintained well. We are already looking in to booking our next trip with a stay in this unit. Highly recommend."

  • Summer Fun in the forest

"My 2 daughters, my husband and I stayed here in the forest for a week. We searched a long time to find the ideal townhouse and found it ! The place was very well appointed, great comfy beds and beautiful layout with high ceilings and huge windows. Star gazing on the private deck at night was fun for my 2 girls. They think they saw a bear! Come to find out it was just a dream. They managed to claim the lovely upstairs bed before we could say no. The pool and spa in the clubhouse were fabulous. We walked around the village and collected pine trees. Thank you Lily for making us feel welcome. Rob, Laura, Ebie and Tilly"

  • Great home!

"What a beautiful home Little Pine Lodge is. Thank you you so much for sharing your home with us. As soon as we walked in, we all went Wow! The home is inviting, warm and oh so comfortable. It's well stocked with everything you could need. I really can't say anything negative about the home, it was just so much better than expected. We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to come back in the future and stay. We've rented other homes in the area, but none can stand up to this home. A big thanks again to the Foster's for sharing their little piece of paradise with us!"

  • Great Stay!

"The cabin was great! Well located within walking distance from the beach and a convenient three minute drive to Safeway. I would have given it 5-stars except for the following reasons: 1. The only two showers are in a shared side room off of the downstairs restroom and no showers in the upper floor restroom, somewhat inconvenient when 7 people of different ages & gender are sharing the cabin. 2. While the space was very clean upon arrival, the first night I discovered what could have been roach or mouse droppings on the pillows and head of the bed in one of the downstairs bedrooms, I'm not too squeamish so I just pulled the bed a foot away from the wall and washed the sheets. 3. The last day, just before check-out, my wife saw a roach in the downstairs restroom, which may explain item No1 above, luckily it was at the end of the trip. I assume that if you are ultimately in the middle of forest, some of the things above are to be expected.."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
