  • Wonderful stay

"We stayed in the lower guest house. When we walked in we were shocked at how nice it was. Much better than staying in a hotel or casino. They had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. We didn't hear much from the owner, but when we did, he was very friendly. It's also only a couple blocks from the Silverton Casino and a few minutes from the strip. This was very convenient for us, since some of our family was staying at the Silverton. I would recommend this to any couple looking for a great place to stay in Vegas."

  • Great cabin with lots of beds for everyone!!

"Our family stayed here for a weekend and had a lovely time. The cabin is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the loft area with games and bunk beds. The booking process and check in was all smooth. The deck and backyard with tall trees were relaxing. The neighbors were nice and friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone!"

  • The Enchantment

"My wife and I spent 3 months at this vrbo. The location and condo layout is excellent. On a couple occasions we had friends join us and it is perfect for 2 couples. The purpose of our stay was to golf and there are plenty of courses to choose from in Mesquite and a half hour away in St George. The condo itself overlooks the 8th hole par 5 green on the Palmer and provides great entertainment from the balcony for the approach shots over water onto the green. Lots of balls in that lake including some of mine. The owners were very helpful as well with answers to any questions we had. We would definitely come back and would recommend this condo to our friends. Alex and Wendy Hinsperger. Thetis Island, B.C. Canada."

  • Cozy condo in walking distance to the ski lift

"We greatly enjoyed staying at this condo. It is very cozy and warm - a place you want to stay after a long day of skiing. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions. The location to the lift was perfect. There are a lot of stairs leading up to the condo - but we considered it good exercise! We very much enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to others."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
