  • Great Stay

"We had a wonderful experience in this unit at the Grand Sierra Resort. The unit is clean and comfortable, the butler's pantry is nice to have, the refrigerator is a good size and was very quiet at night. The unit is on the 19th floor and the views are excellent, especially at dawn and dusk. A nice surprise was the elevators -- with express elevators to the 17th floor and higher, it was almost like having our own elevator, usually with very little wait. The resort itself has everything you could want under one roof. And dealing with Ken and Tracy was a real pleasure, everything went very smoothly. All in all, a great experience."

  • Nice Suite and Stay!

"My wife and I were in town for the 2014 Phish Halloween shows and the suite worked out well. There was a small glitch involving a TV remote but Allen/Wilson/and MGM had it all worked out within an hour. No smokey smell like in the casino, plenty of room for 2 people, the balcony had great views, bed was comfy, and plenty of towels for us over our 4 day stay. We did not get maid service. Signature Suites are a fantastic spot if coming to the MGM for a concert or show with a 10 minute walk to the casino. Will stay here again!"

  • Fantastic stay in Tahoe!

"We had an absolutely fantastic time staying here while we were up in Tahoe for a wedding. The neighborhood is one of the nicest in Lake Tahoe and the location was prefect for us! Walking distance to Starbucks, Raleighs, the lake, the Hyatt and more! The condo was perfectly clean, well maintined and nicely upgraded. It had absolutely everything you could need- all kitchen items, towels, sheets, games, heated blankets on the beds, cozy fireplace and even sleds! When the property manager asked us when we were going to arrive, I wasn't sure why. However, when we pulled up to the condo, the lights were on and the place was nice and warm- it was a great welcome! I booked this place for my husband, myself, and 4 of our friends. Throughout our entire stay they all kept saying was a great find it was and how much they enjoyed it!"

  • Pristine and Perfect!

"We stayed in this wonderful rental for my best friend's bachelor party in early March for three nights. As the best man, I wanted to find a perfect condo for our group. We had a total of 10 guys staying at the condo and we had no issues with fitting all 10 of us in the house, both for sleeping and hanging out. The house was exactly as described on the site and I cannot even begin to explain how amazing the views are from the 2nd deck where the hot tub is located. Just incredible! I would suggest that you rent a car when staying at the condo as it can get pricey taking a cab everywhere as you are a good 7-8 minutes by car to the casinos and main drag in Tahoe. This house is gorgeous and as long as you don't mind stairs, you will not be disappointed if you decide to rent this house!"

Nevada Travel Tips

Getting to Nevada Vacation Rentals

There are two major travel hubs in Nevada. The most well known one is the city of Las Vegas which is located in the southern part of the state. Las Vegas International Airport is one of the busiest in the country and hosts all major airlines from North America. In addition, it receives a number of international carriers from Europe, the Far East, and South and Central America. The second major airport is located in the far northwest. Reno Tahoe International Airport provides access to the ski slopes and beautiful lake area and Lake Tahoe vacation rentals. If you really want to explore Nevada, the best way is by road. The state has an extensive road network that is well maintained. If you plan to travel during the summer months, make sure you have a vehicle with air conditioning. It can get exceptionally hot during the day and air conditioning makes the journey far more enjoyable

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
