  • Fabulous House!

"We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home for a Girls Get Away trip. We had 17 ladies and there was more than enough space for everyone to spread out and enjoy the balconies, patios, pool, hot tub, tiki hut....this home has everything! The Strip is a short 15 minute drive and there are nearby grocery stores in the area for all of your cooking needs. Vincent was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was very prompt in responding to our many questions and very thorough in showing us how to work everything during our stay. We can't wait to go back and rent both houses next time."

"My husband and I stayed here for three weeks in Jan-Feb 2014, which was very spacious for the two of us, stocked with every convenience one would like in a condo, and very convenient walking distance to Incline shops. It was a just a 7 minute drive to Diamond Peak to ski, with a magnificent view of the Lake from Snowflake Lodge. Not to be missed! And a quick drive to the Hyatt for cocktails, Big Water Grille for local ambience, and cosy Le Petit Bistro for delicate French cooking from chef Jean-Pierre. Heather was delightful to work with, solved any concern we had. Readily recommended."

"The condo worked out perfectly for our group ( 4 adults, 2 teenagers); It was clean & comfortable; There were plenty of towels; kitchen was well supplied with everything you would need. The view of Carson Valley from the balcony is amazing. Mark, the owner was great to work with -- Very personable & helpful; Also, worth mentioning is that our security deposit was returned to us within days of our departure. Thanks Mark -- Really appreciate your promptness."

  • Wonderful condo for families, great host

"We needed a rental for the MLK weekend and David's property fit the bill. There were 2 families in our party (4 adults, 3 kids ages 7-10). The kids loved the loft area for their bedroom. The master bedroom was spacious and enjoyable, the 2nd bedroom was as well. All beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all of the items we needed for cooking and serving. The property is clean, well-kept, and nicely furnished. If the neighbors were home, we didn't hear them. There is a small amount of traffic noise, but not enough to bother us. David was very gracious and responsive to our questions/needs throughout the reservation process as well as our stay. The television downstairs is set up a little differently but David demonstrated everything and we had no problems watching what we wanted. We have relatives in the Reno/Sparks area and this property will be the first place we check for future visits."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
