  • Amazing stay

"Had an amazing stay at the condo over Labor Day weekend. Everything about this condo is top notch…no expense seemed to be spared. (pictures don't do the justice) From the moment we booked our stay the owners were friendly and readily available, if needed. Their detailed instructions prior to our arrival and during our stay were greatly appreciated. This condo is spotless, comfortable and so tastefully decorated. We cooked dinner a couple of nights during our stay – everything you could possibly need was there for us. I would highly recommend this rental and will without a doubt be a return guest!"

  • Newly Retired

"Our road trip from New Hampshire to Lake Las Vegas didn't start out so great, due to lots of rain, sleet and snow and a bout with the flu, but once we arrived and got settled in we were pleasantly surprised at how peaceful and comfortable the condo was. Mike couldn't have been more helpful no matter what problem arose, everything was taken care of right away, luckily by e-mails and phone. Love the area and everything Mike recommended was more than we expected. We are sure that this condo would be top on our list of places to return to in the future. The village looks like it is starting to make a comeback, not a lot open, but with the golf course re-opening it might bring new life to the marina area."

  • Fabulous!

"This great relaxing home is far better than the pictures shown. The home is clean and so very comfortable. Nicely appointed kitchen with everything needed to have a fabulous meal. This quiet home has wonderful views of the lake. The walk to white sandy beach is just a few steps down the road. The owner is very prompt at answering any questions. If only I could keep this gem a secret. We are already planning our next trip to this great home."

  • girls weekend

"Booked weekend trip for 3 girlfriends. We all wanted separate beds which was hard to find in traditional hotels. Cosmopolitan hotel built around jockey club so we mingled with their tenants quite frequently traveling thru their hotel to get to parking. Clean. Adequate amenities except there is only one ice machine for entire building. Strip skyline photo was not from this room. Our view was of a big concrete wall with no windows. Great location. Great price. I would recommend."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
