"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The large dinning room table made getting to know our future in-laws an amazing experience. The weekend was a surprise for our daughter's 21 birthday and her boyfriend's family was invited to join the festivities. The open floor concept was very comfortable and the view of the lake spectacular. The home is beautiful and comfortable. The only draw back are the steps. Fortunately we were a fit bunch, however, this home would not be handicap accessible. They should build a bridge/ramp from the top floor to the parking lot. Overall, we loved our stay."

  • We had a wonderful stay at the Celebrity Sundance!

"From our first contact with Sherry at VRBO our experience was perfect. Sherry answered every question and responded quickly to any and every inquiry. The home is very spacious and comfortable. There has been some reconfiguring of the rooms which was different than the pictures on the site but as a group of 12 we were easily accommodated by the bedrooms. The Great Room and dining area were very spacious and beautiful with views to the magnificent Redwoods, Pine Trees and Mountains. Upon our arrival Mike and Jeff stopped by and gave us additional information about the home ( which is all included in the notebook in the home). They also invited us to call at any time if we had any problems or questions. Our stay of eight nights included side trips to Tahoe City, Carson City and Virginia City. Also shopping, hiking and the casinos supplied additional fun. I want to add that the home is pet friendly. For a small fee and a refundable deposit we were able to take our family Rhodesian Ridgeback. The Viking range was great and the additional refrigerator in the garage provided enough space for food. We would definitely return here for another vacation!"

  • Great New Years Stay

"My family and I rented this Chalet for a week over New Years and had a great time. Incline Village is a little more quiet than Reno and South Lake Tahoe. But it's perfect for families and it has everything you need close by. We skied, snowmobiled, and dog sledded. The place is great, more room than the pictures show. The upstairs was great for the kids, they loved having their own area to play. Cooked most of our meals in the kitchen and the BBQ on the deck. I highly recommend this place!"

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
