  • Las Vegas Family Gathering

"Great property for the group of six of us with room to spare! Loved the pool & hot tub and easy access to downtown and the strip. Man Cave was special for the two grandsons! Two comments: no paper towels at property; we purchased some and left remainder and there could be more detailed, step-by-step, instructions on how to operate the hot tub remote control (screen by screen, etc.). Overall excellent and consider for a future visit. Thank you."

  • First Time in Vegas

"We were 6 people (3 couples) that rented this property for our trip to Vegas in March 2015. The house was exactly as pictured and situated in a quite neighborhood about 10-12 minutes from the strip. Taxi to the strip was about $30.00 each way (harder to get cab for 6 people) and taxi drivers were not always familiar with how to get to the house but with GPS and our assistance we made out fine. Clean, quite neighborhood very close drive to supermarket and resturants, etc. The house had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the quiet back yard in the morning to have coffee and in the evenings. Weather was beautiful and in the 80's most of our trip. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub and got a few games of pool in as well. House is well equipped and had everything we needed during our stay. We had a rental vehicle for our entire trip. Home owners were excellent to deal with as well. Only a 30-45 min drive to Hoover dam which was definitely worth seeing. Thank you Damian and Ash."

  • Fantastic cabin for families!

"We had a wonderful stay at Amy's cabin! We were 2 families sharing the house (2 couples and 4 kids) and it was perfect! There was plenty of space for the adults and the kids LOVED the bunk room upstairs! The kitchen was cozy but really was plenty of room for us. It was great to have some space outside for the kids to play in the snow too. The cabin was conveniently located right in Incline Village with easy access to restaurants and stores. While we were there we took the easy drive up to Mt. Rose for a great day of skiing. We'll definitely be back! Thanks Amy!"

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
