  • Beautiful Condo/Cabin with everything we could possibly need!

"My family (5 adults) stayed here for 4 nights and it was great! The condo is beautifully constructed and decorated, and stocked with everything we needed. Located in Lake Village, very quiet and clean with nice warm pool, hot tub and tennis courts (only $5 to rent 4 rackets and balls). (only possible improvement is better/more padded mattresses in small bedroom on bunk beds - very hard and adult kids were uncomfortable, other 2 bedrooms were fine) Location is perfect, very short drive from everywhere we wanted to go, would definitely stay there again! Thanks for sharing your home!!"

  • Great Vacation Home!

"What a great home! Location was phenomenal - we were able to hit three resorts all throughout Lake Tahoe with no problems. The home was beautiful, the views (especially in the morning) were amazing, and the spaciousness of the house was very welcome to spread out after a long day on the mountain. The garage was PERFECT for the rides home with our gear. The outdoors at your doorstep was great to explore the area; we even built a snowman! Oh yeah - the hot tub! What a welcome amenity to treat the sore legs from the slopes. We used the hot tub every night of our stay. The kitchen was great; and everything throughout the home was labeled and easy to locate (except a hairdryer). Owner was great and flexible in accommodating our schedule. The only (minor) improvement I can recommend was that the beds were a bit too soft and had some sag (for our tastes - although we like firm beds - so to each their own), but we had such a great time in the house that this was easily a small sacrifice for all the rest that the house had to offer. We will be back!"

  • Little Pine Lodge

"The best place we have stayed in Tahoe. Great location, clean, great view. We have been disappointed with other places that we have rented, but this placed exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay here again."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
