  • Excellent spot

"This was a great spot! Once you learn how the elevator system works, you can connect through the Jockey Club and into Cosmopolitan very easily. Jockey Club's pool is hidden in the shade, so we took the elevator from there down to the casino floor of Cosmo and walked over to the elevator inside Cosmo. Take floor 14 and you are at the Bamboo Pool! Was very nice there and like I say, once you figur out what floors you need it's a piece of cake. Security was excellent and the view from the room was great. Waking up to the Bellagio Fountains will definitely beat most of the views you will find in any other Las Vegas hotel room. We had a fridge, a microwave, dishwasher. Was nice to whip up something quick for a snack. Valet was great. Concession downstairs was nicely stocked with everything, too. Beer, wine, sunscreen, bread, etc. Once you stay here it will kinda spoil you because it's a condo you could live in, as opposed to a hotel room. Walk out the front door and you are at Planet Hollywood. Take the elevator and you are inside Cosmo. Over to Bellagio (next door) and you can tram to Monte Carlo which is steps away from New York. Can't beat the view and can't beat the location!"

  • Great Accommodations .... Everything we expected!

"We chose to rent this large home for a birthday party/family reunion. The house layout was fantastic in that we were able to have family members gathered in many locations without any one area getting too crowded. The two game room areas are located on either end of the house which allowed people the enjoyment of playing pool or ping pong, without disturbing others having conversations, etc. The open kitchen worked really well for us, and we were able to utilize the large surrounding counter-top for buffet type meals. Also, the backyard is fantastic and allowed for a nice option to enjoy the nice fall weather. Many thanks to Mark and Charlie for the chance to stay there with our group. Mark was wonderful to work with and was very attentive to our needs."

  • Great Stay

"We had a wonderful experience in this unit at the Grand Sierra Resort. The unit is clean and comfortable, the butler's pantry is nice to have, the refrigerator is a good size and was very quiet at night. The unit is on the 19th floor and the views are excellent, especially at dawn and dusk. A nice surprise was the elevators -- with express elevators to the 17th floor and higher, it was almost like having our own elevator, usually with very little wait. The resort itself has everything you could want under one roof. And dealing with Ken and Tracy was a real pleasure, everything went very smoothly. All in all, a great experience."

  • Business and Pleasure

"I was on a business trip in Reno, but wanted to state in South Lake, and this condo offered us a feeling of home away from home. Spencer makes you feel welcome, and takes care of almost every conceivable concern. The view is amazing, the pictures do not lie, we never grew tired of it, day or night. The condo is comfortable and cozy. My wife and I enjoyed are stay, and would absolutely stay here again."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
