  • Condo in Henderson, Nevada's "Green Valley"

"Excellent location, easy to find, clean and very comfortable - particularly for two of us. All of the items we expected to find were there and ready to use. Lots of helpful directions and instructions were provided and Steve was just an email away. Restaurants and shopping opportunities are everywhere!! The neighborhood was pleasant, the weather was good (about 50 degrees warmer than home) and the atmosphere very relaxing. The only issue we experienced was the sheets on the master bed - they were flannel, (our least favorite) and not particularly smooth flannel at that. This was our first VRBO but definitely not our last."

  • Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful + Chic Condo

"I have used VRBO a few times before, and this was a truly exceptional stay. The owner was exceedingly helpful in ensuring that our needs were met and our questions were answered--he is very responsive on both the telephone and email. And the condo itself is very clean and very stylishly decorated. All the appliances were in like-new condition, and the Sony flatscreen TV and blu-ray player appeared nearly brand new. The location is great, as the condo is right in the middle of Incline Village. The free firewood was definitely a plus as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this condo to anyone looking for some R&R in Lake Tahoe."

  • Our family of 6 loved this place!!

"We just returned from this great house, and we would go back in a heartbeat. The views alone were worth 5 stars! The upstairs bunk-bed room was perfect for two teens. We used the roll-away bed when the cousins spent the night. Our relatives stayed in the same neighborhood and toured this house. They were impressed with the views and how quiet it was. The house was fully stocked with condiments, bedding, towels, laundry supplies, beach chairs and toys, everything we could ask for. We used the memory foam on the bunk to make it more comfortable."

"Wow! Beyond our expectations. Gorgeous views, great kitchen and gathering area, convenient to activities. We had a great time at Zephyr Cove, in town and just staying put fixing our own meals. Would've loved to extend our stay."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
