  • A Treasure!

"If I could choose any place at Lake Tahoe, I would choose this charming home. Decorated with personality and charming taste. I can't even believe the owners avail this warm and engaging space for rent. It is crammed with antiques, personality and charm. The owners have wonderful taste and talent in combining Southern Living decor with style and comfort. It was so easy to cozy up and imagine this lovely and engaging home was ours for our short stay. We walked the short walk to the beach everyday for morning coffee and barbecue dinners. It was a dream vacation. If ONLY!!!!"

  • Great Condo Close to Beach

"We loved the condo! Comfortable, clean, nice beds and close to the great Incline beaches. I really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with pots and pans, paper towels, and cleaning supplies, everything we needed for a weekend getaway. I am looking forward to renting this condo again next summer."

  • Great reunion house

"This house worked wonderfully for our family reunion of 15. The inside and outside areas were comfortable and well-furnished and gave us plenty of room for 10 adults and 5 kids. Several suggestions: Summer renters be aware that the house has absolutley NO beach accessories. We used the bath towels for the beach and washed them each night. Second. Be prepared to buy paper towels, soap, and toilet paper by the 2d or 3rd day of your stay. Supplies provided for a group of 15 will not last long. Also the stove has major issues. The grates don't actually fit the stove and several of the burners are troublesome. Having made those suggestions, we would definitely rent this house again. It is really comfortable and suits a large group."

  • Rockclimbers Home Base

"Plenty of room and amenities for 7 out-of-town climbers to sort gear, rest cook, shower, and sleep between crags. Comfy beds and hot tub great. But not as great as our hostess, Cheryl - the best. I'd definitely consider coming back with climbing buddies again, or maybe just with family."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
