  • Absolutely Beautiful!!

"We stayed at this gorgeous home at the beginning of October. When we first stepped into the house, we quickly realized the pictures don't do it justice! This house was more beautiful than we imagined!! It was a very spacious house too! The master bedroom is HUGE!! The biggest I have ever seen! Not to mention a dream walk in closet! haha We held our small wedding at the house and some of the girls ended up using the closet as a dressing room! lol The outside area was perfect. 2 waterfalls, a pool, and a hot tub! The patio is nice and big and very good for small get-togethers! All of our guests who stayed over night with us were very pleased with their rooms! I was a little bummed at first when we found out we couldn't use the whirlpool tub in the master bath because a part was missing but we didn't have time for it anyway lol. I would absolutely recommend this house! I actually got a little teary-eyed when we had to leave!"

  • Fantastic

"My wife & I stayed here 4 nights in September & had a fantastic time. The room was spotless & had everything we needed & more. The view was amazing & could hear no noise in the room when the balcony door was closed. The walk to the strip via the MGM lobby was about 13 mins no problem at all, the walk to the strip via the front road entry & adjoining street was about 17 mins & again no problem (great shopping mall at PH) All in all I would highly recommend this suite & will certainly be staying here again if we return to Vegas again (would love to but Australia is such a long trip :) ) Our only down side was nothing to do with the owner of the suite or VRBO but as we paid in full before we arrived, as we arrived at The MGM Signature the front desk staff asked for my credit card to cover any incidentals (they assured me they would de duct $330.00 at that time & it would be back on my card 3 days after we checkout) well we left on the 12th of September & it is now the 78th of October & we still have not received our money back. I have sent an email direct to The Signature Hotel & to this date still have not had an answer. AGAIN this has nothing to do with the owner or this suite or VRBO who have looked after us very well. All in all the best place to stay in Vegas"

  • Charming Cabin

"The cabin is absolutely charming and the location is ideal. It's cozy yet spacious and bright, fully equipped, and has a large deck with plenty of room for grilling, lounging and dining outside. The property is very pretty. We were just minutes away from Sand Harbor and two private beaches, and Spooner & access to the Tahoe Rim Trail are not far at all. We loved our stay here and we're already looking forward to booking it for a return trip!"

  • Wonderful house- great value!

"Our extended family had a wonderful week staying at Jeff's house. There are plenty of bedrooms with comfortable beds, tons of things to do (pool table, karaoke machine, hot tub, heated pool, inground trampoline, bicycles etc.) The kitchen is large with high-end appliances and more small appliances than I have at my home. We had two small problems and even though we never got the sauna working hot, the manager was quite attentive to our issues. The very best thing about this property though was the location; there is a private neighborhood beach a few streets away, but the house borders state park land- if you go out the back gate a path takes you to the lake, small coves of sandy beach or within 10 minutes a marina where you can rent jetskis or paddleboard, take a cruise, play volleyball etc. It really was a wonderful trip- and the house was more than we could have wished for!"

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
