  • Awesome MLK weekend get away!

"As a previous family mentioned, the pictures do not do this home justice as the grand archway, beautiful decor, and layout cannot be understood until you are there in person. This house hosted 8 adults and 10 kids ranging from 1 to 7 yrs. The layout allows for multiple activities to be going on and not feel crowded at all. Great kitchen layout and gas grill outside. The kids loved the secret play room that you access from one of the room closets. Plenty of activities to enjoy the house with board games, cards/chips, and an awesome foosball table which hosted many rounds of play. The house is 10mins away from Diamond Peak which made for easy drop offs for ski school. It's also very close to the Meadows snow play area off 431 Mt Rose Hwy. Back yard is open and has lots of area to explore. Enjoying the house more than made up for the lack of snow this past weekend. Easy booking and very responsive owners who care about their home and guests. Cannot wait to visit again!"

  • Great home for families and couple!

"We choose this home because it has 5 queen size beds (as well as 4 twins) and a large deck. This enabled couples to sleep comfortably plus have room for singles in the group. Others in our party rented the house next door, and we could all gather on our exterior deck. We brought in extra chairs and tables. Everything in the house worked fine and was clean and well organized. The owner was easy to work with and gave me excellent suggestions as I planned the catering from cross-country. Deposit was returned in a timely manner. It was a great experience! Thank you!"

  • Wonderful House & Rental Experience

"This was our first rental through VRBO and we were so happy to have selected this house. After looking at many options online, we decided on this one, because of the convenient location and nice furnishings. We are so happy that we did. The pictures really do look like the house, but it is even nicer in person. We stayed with 5 adults and 2 children, and definitely felt like we had room for a couple more. We took advantage of the nice weather and enjoyed BBQing on the patio... there was good wifi, tv, and games to keep us busy too. Although we went during a warm weekend with no snow around, Diamond Peak was less than 10mins away, and made enough snow for us to enjoy our trip. Overall a beautiful house, convenient location, and a place I would definitely recommend."

  • Great cabin for large family or families in Incline!

"The cabin is conveniently located in Incline Village and comfortably accommodated our "mini" family reunion of 11 people with room to spare. The main floor and bathrooms throughout are nicely updated. The backyard is beautiful with a pleasant little creek. We appreciated the pet friendly nature of the cabin since we had our very well behaved and sweet yellow lab with us."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
