  • Nice Place!

"My friend and I enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home. The only thing that would have improved our stay would be an instructional sheet explaining how everything worked. We did figure out everything that we needed to know but an instruction sheet would have been helpful. It was great to be able to park in the garage. Most places I rent from VRBO do not provide that option."

  • Long Labor Day weekend with family

"There was two families with a couple of young children and this home was well equipped for us. The home was clean and the description was accurate. In fact, we were delighted with these accommodations. The master bedroom was larger then it appeared in the picture. We found the place quiet and the people friendly. We enjoyed the books, games and DVD's that were available and of course the lake. The owners were easy to work with and let us know that there was fireworks on Labor Day that we could see from the beach. They graciously brought over a couple more folding chairs for us to use on the beach. We all had a marvelous time and regretted leaving. We would not hesitate to recommend this place or to spend another vacation here."

  • Great house and great location

"We've been coming to this particular street on Stagecoach since 2006 for multiple spring breaks. This is the nicest equipped home for a large group that we've experienced. The owner does not skimp on having the necessary kitchen accessories for a large group to be able to utilize the kitchen. There are several other large rentals on this street, but the ones we have stayed in have not had much in the kitchen area to work with, which makes home cooking very difficult. Very nice home...great showers...nice beds...great temperature control...great views...unbeatable location for ski/in ski/out."

  • All the Comforts of Home

"We loved the walking trail wonderful nearby park to keep our active boys busy between runs up to Mt. Rose. The furnishings were great and all the details were well provided for. The bedrooms are spacious and the blackout blinds were a very thoughtful touch. The kitchen worked well for us for breakfasts and lunches and we enjoyed a number of dinners at the Twisted Fork around the corner."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
