  • Excellent value

"This place is located perfectly in a private community with a private beach. Quiet neighborhood with very warm neighbors. Nice fire pit out back to roast marshmallows and have it feel like camping without the camping. Nice new remodel in the kitchen and bathroom."

  • Las Vegas Desert Club/Holiday Inn Vacation Club

"We stayed in this resort in a one bedroom unit for one week in March, 2014. We were attending a work conference and Nascar. We found the resort to be very nice and the rooms had clearly been updated. One of the nice things about this resort was the green space and pool areas. There wasn't just one pool in the middle of the resort. There were at least 3 pools that I saw and 2 exercise rooms, both of which were well equipped. Everything is very clean and well kept. We had a top floor unit at the rear of the resort which I would recommend if you like quiet. The room was spacious and included a huge soaker tub. The amenities in the room were excellent and I really appreciated the washer and dryer. The best part about this place though in my mind was the lovely balcony we had. It had a table and 2 chairs and we were able to sit outside and enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. This was a welcome treat after busy days in Vegas. The service was excellent. We had a small issue with our internet and when I called about it (at 11pm) they actually sent someone right over! We had a bit of a leak under the sink and literally within 3-4 minutes a guy was at the door to fix it. I can't say enough about the service we received from shuttle drivers to front desk staff to maintenance. Although it is a time share resort it wasn't too crazy with people asking you to go on a tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area which was a welcome treat after coming from Canada brrrr. The shuttles were efficient and had a good schedule to local hotels and even Fremont Street. Lastly, the owners Larry and Mary were super helpful and accomodating and professional. We will most certainly be back to this resort and would highly recommend the owners as well."

"My husband and I and our dog George traveled to this beautiful house and spent 6 weeks in Vegas soaking up the mild weather and enjoying this well appointed home - beautifully decorated and super clean. Luxury and sun! We are not gamblers, but enjoyed day trips to wilderness areas such as Red Rock Canyon and Desert National Wildlife Refuge. The walk to the nice little Pueblo Park was a perfect daily exercise for me."

Nevada Travel Tips

Getting to Nevada Vacation Rentals

There are two major travel hubs in Nevada. The most well known one is the city of Las Vegas which is located in the southern part of the state. Las Vegas International Airport is one of the busiest in the country and hosts all major airlines from North America. In addition, it receives a number of international carriers from Europe, the Far East, and South and Central America. The second major airport is located in the far northwest. Reno Tahoe International Airport provides access to the ski slopes and beautiful lake area and Lake Tahoe vacation rentals. If you really want to explore Nevada, the best way is by road. The state has an extensive road network that is well maintained. If you plan to travel during the summer months, make sure you have a vehicle with air conditioning. It can get exceptionally hot during the day and air conditioning makes the journey far more enjoyable

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
