  • Excellent condition. So comfortable. Great location.

"My family just got back from 5 days at the Tahoe Jewel and we absolutely loved this place. It had everything that really matters to us in a vacation rental and more. It was clean, comfortable and really conveniently located. Pinewild is a great community where we had stayed before and this particular townhouse has a nice spot within the complex - really pretty meadow views and so close to the lake/beach. The layout of the unit itself is great for families and friends - the kitchen, living room and dining room are all open to each other and very nicely furnished and comfortable. The downstairs bedrooms each have their own bathroom and the upstairs bedroom has an attached area with bunk beds that are younger kids LOVED. Last but not least, the owners have kept the quality up throughout the unit - towels are soft and absorbent, sheets are soft, extra blankets are everywhere. Just a really nice place to stay. I highly recommend it and we will certainly go back."

  • Unbelievable home and extraordinary trip! Excellent!!!

"We stayed here for my husbands 40th birthday with 4 other couples. We lived like celebrities with a catered chef's dinner and everyone had a great time. The pool was awesome the rooms were super quiet, decorated exquisitely and every one had plenty of room. This place was unbelievable and James was just great to work with. We will be back for sure!"

  • Nice place, nice price!

"My wife, 2 teen daughters and I stayed here while in LV for a wedding. Nice condo & complex, near great areas of retail and restaurants, and close to the foothills for hiking. It was less than 15 minutes to the airport and The Strip. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!"

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
