  • Cozy Escape

"The Cozy Shangrila is extremely convenient. Located right by the door to the main building, it affords easy unloading and convenience for all ages. This cozy escape has two beds, two baths,a well-stocked kitchen and living room, and a hot tub. My family and I stayed here for two nights and we enjoyed every minute of our stay."

  • Outstanding!

"Everything about our stay was excellent! The booking process was simple, and all questions were very clearly answered. The house itself is amazing - perfect for large groups. Having room enough for our entire group to sit down for dinner each night was very nice. The location can't be beat - you literally walk out the door and across the street to hit the slopes. At the end of the day, you can get in a few more runs on Stagecoach or Olympic Downhill before lifts close and then very conveniently get cleaned up and relax in the hot tub before dinner! The town is a very short drive away (or taxi ride if you party hard at après ski). Highly recommended!"

  • 4th Stay

"This was our 4th time staying at this unit at Vdara. That probably says enough. We frequently look at deals at other properties but feel so at home here that we keep coming back. The unit is well appointed, clean and well maintained. (Not getting charged with a "resort fee" is a real plus.) We will be back again."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
