  • Great Family Home

"Four seniors from Canada in Vegas for a week of golf, sightseeing & Air Show. The location was excellent with our rented van & GPS. The house is as advertised. The living quarters are spacious and clean. The kitchen is very well stocked as some fine dining was had in the evenings. Steaks on the BBQ by the pool or Boneless leg of lamb in the oven. Beds were very comfortable. This home offers exceptional value if your looking for a quality & quiet stay. We would not hesitate to return. Thank You Bev"

  • December in Lake Las Vegas

"We found the condo very comfortable for 2 adults. The condo itself lived up to the VRBO description. The area surrounding it is absolutely lovely and conducive to walking, jogging, boating and golfing. We were not there during the summer months, so we do not have first hand knowledge of the outdoor music venue, but we understand it is very enjoyable. The area is quite peaceful and offers many activities. Lastly, the management staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. My husband and I would most definitely stay there again!"

  • Great views, cozy home, possible allergens!

"We rented this home in Jan 2015 and had a great time overall! Pros: - The views from the house were amazing! - Well-stocked kitchen. - Cozy home. Cons: - Some folks from our group had allergic reaction - either dogs/cats before or mold. Take allergy medicine. - The house has a bit of an old home feeling (carpet colors, furniture style). For the same price, we have stayed at much nicer homes. But, this was last minute. - It is not so bright downstairs where the bedrooms are. - The sixth bedroom doubles up as the game room. Just something to keep in mind, when planning."

  • Weekend Tahoe Get-away

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience with our rental was very good. The house was extremely clean and organized with everything the was advertised appeared in the house. Spa and sauna in good condition. Beds were comfortable if you don't mind the thick waterproof diaper underneath the sheets protecting the mattress. The master bedroom fitted sheet came off all 4 corners of the mattress within 30 minutes which was annoying. The outdoor patios with a view of the lake was awesome. Kitchen had everything we could need with plenty of plates and cups for everyone. Overall the house was actually in better condition than I assumed from the pictures. Very impressive house fit for any groups.<br/><br/>The only thing was they asked us to do a lot of our own cleaning before we left and then still had to pay $350 for cleaning after a 2 night stay. Seems a little excessive. Not exactly sure where that $350 went.<br/><br/>Other than that I had a very easy experience with the rental company. It almost seemed too easy. I was barely in contact with them at all. 1 email for sending them paperwork and thats it. When spending this much money I would have felt more comfortable if the rental company contacted me more and had a little more open means of communication. It was odd that I never had to talk to anyone. <br/>But in the end, I never had an problems.<br/><br/><br/>"

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
