  • An All Around Five Star Experience

"Due to a horrible windstorm on our way down, we arrived late at the rental, and Sandra had made sure everything was ready for us when we got there. The house and hot tub had been freshly cleaned, there were two folders: one for how to use the hot tub, and one for expectations on how to take care of the house. I had a brief problem with the dryer, which Sandra came over and fixed immediately. The house is fantastic, it's really close to the strip, and provided all sorts of info for things to do while we were in town. While the house is on the owner's property, she was not at all invasive. I can't recommend the house enough if you're looking to have a relaxing time within ten minutes of The Strip."

  • Cozy condo in walking distance to the ski lift

"We greatly enjoyed staying at this condo. It is very cozy and warm - a place you want to stay after a long day of skiing. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions. The location to the lift was perfect. There are a lot of stairs leading up to the condo - but we considered it good exercise! We very much enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to others."

  • Fabulous Owner!

"I had reserved this condo for Sep 24-28, 2014. Ann called to tell me the King Fire was causing smoky conditions around Lake Tahoe and asked if I want to proceed. After I checked it out, I realized conditions were unstable, local events had been cancelled, and our first trip to Lake Tahoe hiking and exploring was not going to be any fun. Ann graciously offered a refund due to the conditions which we accepted with gratitude. I received it within minutes. What a great owner!! I will definitely reserve this condo at a future date, and I highly recommend this wonderful lady as someone to do business with! I couldn't ask for more. Without her intervention, we would have found ourselves on a smoky, unpleasant trip."

  • Tahoe home

"We were very pleased with the house. The neighborhood is very quiet. The setting is beautiful, with many trees and a spacious front and back yard and deck. The house itself is attractive, clean, comfortable, and filled with all the "necessaries." The four of us, all adults, greatly enjoyed our week here."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
