  • Our "go-to" stay in Newbury

"My wife has family and friends in the area, and we have now stayed with Cindi and Brett numerous times when we visit (and are planning more stays). They are very welcoming and the apartment is a perfect "home away from home." Highly recommended!"

  • Magical place

"We recently spend two months living in Ailsa's lovely farmhouse. It truly is a magical place, filled with family love and mementos that make it feel more like you're visiting than renting. The living room has windows on three sides which allows for ample sunlight and views. The sunsets were fabulous and we enjoyed sitting in the yard, listening to the frogs. Our dog was quite intrigued by the cows -- who returned the interest. Watching their meanderings around the property was always entertaining. Kitchen was fully equipped and we grilled almost every evening. Farmer's market on Sundays in Canaan. With traffic (on Rtes 4 and 120), getting to Dartmouth College main campus could take at least half an hour. But there were nice back routes for stress-free driving. All in all, a wonderful stay that we will always remember."

  • Great Two Week Vacation Spot

"We vacationed with our two children at the North Star House and had a wonderful time. The house is lovely and yard great for outdoor play. The kitchen is well stocked for gourmet cooking and meals. We hiked, fished, kayaked and biked all from the house. Loved the local farmer's markets and the bushes full of blueberries. Super clean - very easy to work with Bill and Jenny."

  • Work Retreat

"Great place to get away for a couple of days. We used this as a staff retreat for 2 days and it was perfect. Everything you need is there, especially the ability to get away, have some quite time to focus on what we wanted to accomplish and best of all - great views looking across the pond at the sunrise, sunset and the Loon who visited us each day."
