"Our family of five (mom, dad, three teen boys),my mother and our two dogs had a wonderful week here! The owners welcomed Us and helped us with whatever we needed. There was plenty of parking and a boat ramp nearby. We moored our boat on the dock right out the back door. The house was clean and rustic. This vacation was truly about the lake! Wake boarding, water skiing, tubing, sight seeing and dining on the water! There is always something to do!I would recommend this house for families with older kids due to being right on the water. Great vacation!"

"We recently had a small family reunion in New London, and the out-of-towners rented this house on Little Lake Sunapee. It was perfect for two adult couples and two children, and had room for larger family dinners as well. The house is well laid out, with lots of different areas to spread out or have some separate time from others. The huge deck across the back of the house is wonderful, and we all spent alot of time there when we weren't hanging out on the dock or in the kayaks! There was a maintenance problem on our first day, but the owner was at the front door in ~5 min to check it out and had a serviceman there very quickly. Everything was resolved in a few hours--unlike other places we have stayed! The house is less than 5 min from the grocery store, and another 5 min to restaurants, etc in New London. Little Lake Sunapee is beautiful throughout the year, but especially in the summer. One note: the sun comes up very early in the summer and the BRs have fairly sheer curtains, so bringing your sleeping masks!"

"We found the home lovely and modern, with wonderful decorations, coordinated furnishings, clean and roomy with two full size bathrooms and a nice sized kitchen. We grilled dinners on the second floor deck and had our morning coffee there as well. It is super quiet at night and we didn't even miss central A/C because of the ceiling fans in the main area and bedrooms. It is all it was advertised to be. We had ice cream at Newbury Harbor, went grocery shopping in Newbury, actually took the 90 minute drive to Hampton Beach, and went to the movies in Claremont on the only rainy day we had. We walked the John Hay trail, took a short hike up Keersage mountain at Rollins State Park, went to an outlet mall in Tilton about an hour away. And even though it sounds like we we busy, in fact we relaxed much of the time right at the house or at the Chalk Pond beach. We used the floating devices and the canoe and had fun swimming and canoeing around the pond. All in all, a very nice home, a great location, a clean, quiet pond, trees, woods, lakes, and mountains all lending themselves to having a most wonderful time."

"My husband and I stayed in this charming farmhouse for Presidents' Day weekend with our three-year-old and one-year-old girls, and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, as well as plenty of spices and condiments. The house's floor plan accommodated our family perfectly: we used the two downstairs bedrooms and put the baby's travel crib in the passageway between the living room and master bedroom. One thing I'd note to families with small kids is that there isn't a bathtub; but our girls did fine with a big bowl and some wash cloths in the shower. The setting is idyllic, with views eastward across the lake in one direction and westward over a big pasture in the other direction. We had frigid temps and loads of snow while we were there, but we were still able to play outside a bit, using the sleds stored in the barn on the quiet dead-end road that the house sits at the end of. We also enjoyed a little time at the local branch of the town library, where the librarian was nice enough to let us borrow a few DVDs. It was the perfect "country getaway" that we'd been looking for!"
