"we loved our stay at bud's cove! the weather was rainy and gloomy much of the trip but it didn't stop us from swimming and boating all week long. We rented all 3 cabins for our family and was glad we did. We used the top cabin for evening card games the bunk house for evening chats and the center cabin for everything else. We had an unfortunate thing happen while we stayed here in that our new Jeep was totalled by a driver that wasn't watching the road, no one was hurt thankfully. The owners helped us a great deal navigating the community . I would definitely go back again. Of note however to walk up and down to the waterfront if you are elderly or have bad knees, it is a hike!"

  • Fantastic family rental!

"My family and I had a reunion at Allan and Sandy's home and it was absolutely perfect. Allan was responsive and friendly throughout the process, and even checked in on us via email several times during our 10-day stay. The house was neat as a pin, freshly cleaned, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The furniture, beds, and linens especially were great, and the kitchen was so well stocked that we had no trouble cooking like we were right at home. Altogether we had 6 adults and 3 children and with the 4 bedrooms there was plenty of comfortable space and privacy for all of us. The town is lovely and quiet but has all the amenities we needed - restaurants, shopping, ice cream and coffee! - and the private beach at the lake was a 3 minute drive from the house. The only time we had to contact the property manager was when the cable box stopped working, and the handyman contacted me immediately and had a new box to us the very next morning. We had a wonderful time and would recommend that anyone rent this house from Allan and Sandy!"

  • Last minute decision...

"We were scheduled for a vacation in North Conway and at the last minute decided we wanted less hustle and more quiet and luckily found this property located on a quiet pond in the Sunapee Region…we had the most peaceful, restful and fun vacation that we have had in years…hiking Mount Kearsarge, breakfast with fresh farm eggs and vegetables, reading at the harbor, visits to the state park for r&r&r (rest, relaxing and reading). Bubba’s for seafood chowder and honey cornbread, kayaking, walking; you get the picture…a very non-commercial vacation…and what an enjoyment. The house was a little big for two of us but stocked with everything you need…I’m not sure what the best part of this vacation was but one of the most memorable was sitting on the deck late at night trying to count all the stars…thanks for sharing your home with us!"

  • Lake Sunapee NH-It's like....On Golden Pond

"Words can not possibly describe the sounds, sights and memories that were built at this wonderful home. We had the opportunity to rent it for the ski season. A few minutes down the road from Mt Sunapee and only a couple of hours from Boston. We have rented several homes via VRBO and this is without a doubt the best! So comfy even better than originally described. The owners have thought of everything from a backup generator to nice dry firewood. The area is beautiful with much more to do than I would have originally thought. I can only imagine how wonderful this would be in the summer. Not only are the Antiques wonderful but the French Country theme is perfect! "Chillax" has now taken a whole new meaning, from coffee on the dock to a walk or run on one of the many nearby nature trails.q"
