"we loved our stay at bud's cove! the weather was rainy and gloomy much of the trip but it didn't stop us from swimming and boating all week long. We rented all 3 cabins for our family and was glad we did. We used the top cabin for evening card games the bunk house for evening chats and the center cabin for everything else. We had an unfortunate thing happen while we stayed here in that our new Jeep was totalled by a driver that wasn't watching the road, no one was hurt thankfully. The owners helped us a great deal navigating the community . I would definitely go back again. Of note however to walk up and down to the waterfront if you are elderly or have bad knees, it is a hike!"

  • Great place to stay!

"We had a great time at the Little Sunapee Cottage. Patricia could not have been a better host. Before our arrival and after she answered every question we had and solved any issue that came up- including helping us find great babysitters so that the adults could have a few fun nights out! The location is great. Bucklin Beach is a great place to swim and play and is a two minute drive down the hill. Downtown New London (and Hanafords, a great grocery store) are also two minute drives in opposite directions. The house is comfy and has an enormous back yard and a wonderful screened in porch where we spent hours. It's also possible to see many, many stars from the yard which was a treat."

  • We'll be back again.

"Our family and another family stayed here for two weeks this summer. It was a great condo at the top of the hill which makes it feel secluded, and yet it's right off the golf course and walking distance to the pool. We even walked down to the lake for kayaking and swimming, but it is a haul back up the hill! We were able to play golf right out the back door, at hole #5 I think, so there is no need to walk all the way down to the first hole. The course is beautiful. It's mostly short distances but filled with hills and trees that keep it challenging. The condo was clean and easily accommodated our whole family. Plenty of spaces for us to spread out. The kids would often watch a movie in the basement while the adults were hanging out upstairs. And the sunset view on the deck during dinner time was pretty incredible. We'll definitely be back next year. Thanks for a great vacation spot."

  • Work Retreat

"Great place to get away for a couple of days. We used this as a staff retreat for 2 days and it was perfect. Everything you need is there, especially the ability to get away, have some quite time to focus on what we wanted to accomplish and best of all - great views looking across the pond at the sunrise, sunset and the Loon who visited us each day."
