  • Nice cabin in Pittsburg

"Nice clean rustic cabin for getaways, fishing or just enjoying the area. We had no issues. Just be sure to bring a small tank of propane for the gas grill. Could use a screen front door for hot days but for June, we were fine. Nice people to deal with and highly recommended."

  • Highly Recommended For Families

"My family and I spent a week here and had all the comforts of home. We combined two families and had a range of ages from 2-50 and everyone enjoyed it. The lake itself was warm, clean and shallow enough for my 2 year old to enjoy it. You can walk out quite a ways before it starts to get deep. Our teens liked paddle boarding and floating on rafts tied to the bouy. There is no beach but the dock was great for hanging out and sitting by the water on. The bottom of the lake had soft sand which was so nice for walking around in the water. This was especially nice for my little one. There is also a fire pit outside which the kids loved making s'mores with and the adults enjoyed just as much. The house: The beds were comfy, the kitchen is beautiful with granite counter tops, wooden floors and an amazing view of the lake and sunset. You can tell the owner makes every effort to ensure his renters are happy. The garage is filled with things like rafts, a canoe, wind surfer, life jackets and other lake toys. The house is very well kept and spacious with an open concept. There were 10 of us and plenty of room for all of us. Having two bathrooms was very nice. The kids appreciated bunking up in the same room and having their own bathroom and T.V. (though we barely used the T.V.) There were even some toys in the closet. There is also a little cottage apart from the house with a double bed but, we didn't use it. The house is located on a very quiet dead end street. We scoped it out and think this has to be the street with the greatest views of the lake, mountains and sunset. Hope to go back!!"

  • Summer Vactation

"We had a fantastic week at Lakehouse Heaven. We spent the week with another family and there was plenty of room for all 10 of us! We truly enjoyed the surroundings. We spend time on the Saco River and even climbed Mt. Washington! Great area for shopping in North Conway. The house had everything we needed! Fantastic time at the fire pit watching the stars and finding satellites streaming across the sky. We definitely will be back again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us!"
