"We vacationed with several adults and children (cousins, 7-17 yrs old) during early June and we were very pleased with this rental. Because the location is secluded and the house is so close to the water, we felt as if we had the pond all to ourselves.
We especially enjoyed swimming to the dock and taking many adventurous excursions around the pond – stopping to explore the “island” near the other side – in the kayaks and paddleboat provided. (The water is a bit murky in places but it was fine for swimming; there’s even a small public beach on the other side.) Our family loves nature, so we were thrilled to spot heron, loons, beavers, turtles, snakes, and, best of all, a mama bear and her three cubs!
The house itself is comfortably and tastefully furnished and well-equipped both inside and out. Almost every room offers a view of the pond. We appreciated it that there were options for “togetherness,” as well as for privacy. For example, there’s a rec room on the ground level (for rainy day ping pong games) and a TV room on the third level, but if someone wants a quiet place to read or nap, they can choose from several bedrooms or they can relax on the deck. There are many chairs for sitting beneath the pine trees near the fire pit as well.
Whether you have a family with children or you’re planning a retreat with several adults, if you want a beautiful, secluded setting, this is it. We only left to buy occasional groceries – everything we needed and everything we wanted to do was already here."

"What a wonderful discovery Albiron Lodge on White Oak Pond was for us this past August. So much so that we've already arranged to go back next summer!
We have a full spectrum of ages in our family (ages 6 to 82) and everyone found much enjoyment of the loons, lakes, nearby hikes, quaint town of Holderness, and immersion in nature that surrounds this lovely, secluded house with enough room for a large family. We truly loved our week there!"

"To celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary, we decided to invite our children and grandchildren up to the lake for a week's vacation. The house was so reminiscent of long past summers spent at the lake with our children (now grown) and delighted the grandchildren. There are so many places for everyone to spread out, it never seemed crowded. The waterfront was great and renting a boat so the children could water ski and tube was perfect. The kayaks were in constant use as was the raft. Wolfeboro is just up the road. The view is so peaceful and beautiful. The house had everything you needed and the fireplace and Mr. Moose were an added extra! Our family really got a chance to relax and reconnect. It was a vacation to treasure and remember. We hope to do it again! We highly recommend it."

"We had a great time. The house was right on the lake and located in a calm area with a dock we could easily dock our 23' boat at. The main house had a nice sizable deck with both a charcoal and propane grill and small backyard that had a fire-pit and hammock. The inside was spacious with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The guesthouse was recently renovated and had its own kitchen and fridge as well. Hoping to visit again next year."
