"Good sized roomy cottage with great cell service, free wifi and local use of a telephone.
Lots of fresh blueberries (called whortleberries) were available for picking. Ducks and loons all around. Quiet enough to hear the loon calls morning and night. Spectacular views of mountain, islands and lake area. Dock that has protective rubber to protect your boat. Nature walks around the house showcased coral sticks and indian pipe plants which are usually seen only in natural settings. Safe place for kids, adults and/or families with games, puzzles and loads of VCR and DVDs for rainy days. We enjoyed our entire week!"

"My husband and I enjoyed a lovely week on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. There could not be nicer and more welcoming hosts/owners than Bryan and his family. Though they are right next door, ( and you share a dock) they kindly gave us privacy. The house is very tidy and well cared for. It's slightly quirky with a kitchen and living/sleeping space on both levels. Ideal for a family with teenagers. Because it was just the two of us we stayed mainly on the first level where the view is quite nice! At times, the space felt a bit tight and we may have preferred more space. The town of Meredith is worth exploring and so nice to be able to walk from Bryan's place. For some reason the coin operated laundry bugged me but I know it wouldn't bother everyone. What it lacked in charm it made up for in hosts and a beautiful view and easy water access."

"This property is simply fantastic, We have used HomeAway about 10 times for vacations, and this is definitely our favorite one so far. The lot is the best you could ask for. The sandy beach has a very gentle slope so you can dip your feet into the clean water or slowly go in deeper. There is a dock, and a grassy yard with a firepit. It is incredibly private. There is a fence on one side and tons of trees and bushes on the other side, so you are not on top of your neighbors, like most places. There is also a huge deck and two patio sets so you could sit 10 for dinner out there. We used the two kayaks every day to paddle around the lake, and it was beautiful. We tried the paddle boat too, but the kayaks are more fun.
Inside, the house is open concept with high ceilings and large rooms. We like to cook, and there was every kitchen tool and pan you would ever need. Plus a dishwasher, which is unusual for a lake rental. The house is super clean and neat. We were able to easily hook up our laptop to the TV to watch some Netflix, plus there is a dvd player to watch movies (there is a Redbox about 10 minutes away). The owneres really have thought of everything. We went to Dantes one night, which is a fantastic Italian restaurant nearby. We also went to Smokey Goodness Pub for some great barbecue one night. But our favorite thing to do was just sit on the deck or in the living room and look out at the lake and relax.
I HIGHLY recommend this house, it is exactly what we wanted in a relaxing lake house. I wish we didn't have to leave!"

"We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend to attend a family wedding in Sanbornton. The property was EXACTLY as described and pictured on its website....very neat and clean. The bathrooms are original to the house, built in the mid 1930's, but that's part of the charm. The beds were very comfortable. The house is on a point on the lake and has everything you need. We barbequed, sat out on the lawn overlooking the lake and just relaxed when we weren't busy with wedding events. Jim, the manager of the property, couldn't have been nicer and made us feel right at home. I would definitely stay here again if in the area."
